I've been listening to this song all day and this monstrosity was born. Honestly feels like it could be an illustration of Chris' fall from grace. Like, he literally has golden statues of himself. Granted, most of them were just chocolate wrapped in gold foil but...those were the ones he gave the contestants.

There's lots of good lines in this song and I couldn't decide which ones to include...so I just went with the opening verse. It also gave me an excuse to practice painting metal.

You know...I feel like most people wouldn't have been so pressed about the Duncney/Gwent break ups if the show had handled it differently.

Like...they're 16. How many people do you know are still together with the person they dated in high school? If you do know any couples like that, I guarantee you that they are the exception- not the rule. It would have been realistic...from what I've read, most high school romances don't last longer than a few months and that's being generous. In my honest opinion, most of the canon ships wouldn't have survived very long after the end credits. They only got to know each other for a couple months, and that's...yeah. I don't think anyone would be able predict them staying together forever.

But the forced love triangle...there are more interesting ways to stir up drama in your stories, guys.

Noah is like a cactus...makes it difficult for people to get close to him. You wouldn't hug a cactus. But those that play their cards right and are willing to navigate around the needles may find the sweeter side to him. A sweeter more vulnerable side...

It's probably why he gets along so well with people like Owen and Izzy. Two very chaotic individuals who aren't put off by his general prickliness...and so he's a little more open with them.

Incidentally....Cody also tends to be drawn towards cactuses. He was on a team full of them, and up until the episode, they synergized fairly well...when they weren't busy bickering with each other.

A bit of a follow up to my last post, I actually used to roleplay Noah in a multifandom server I was in. In other words, he was meeting and interacting with characters from completely different worlds and universes.

Needless to say, your boy finding himself in a world where literally no one knew who he was turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him.

Got a Miitipia game started with Cody as the main character...lemme know if you want updates. I haven't even gotten to the first town yet...if you got ideas for npcs, throw them at me. They'll def be mostly Total Drama characters, but I might get bored and throw another video game character or oc in.

The Dramarama wiki states that Noah cared more about his lack of positive traits than our current Noah does...like, way more. But like, what if Current!Noah cares more than he lets on? Everyone has insecurities, it's just part of being human.

I wouldn't be surprised if he buries all his inner demons under a nigh-impenetrable shell of sarcasm and dry wit that only certain people get to peak under...and even they don't get to see everything.

Well, now I kinda wanna see him reach his breaking point...how he'd get there is another question.

Will never understand canon purists. I remember reading this line about being "a slave to the source". It was a from an interview with One - the creator of Mob Psycho 100 - about how he wanted the staff to adapt the manga in a way that, while being faithful to the original look to some degree, they should make it interesting.

I feel like the same logic should be applied to fan works. Cause they are, in many ways, just an adaptation of the original work. Not to mention, fan adaptations are not canon. The fact that they are not canon should make you happy, not upset. I mean...unless the fandom does the """unthinkable""" and somehow does a better job than the source material. That's not a fault of the fandom.

What if...I incorporated some of Dramarama Cody's personality into my portrayal of Drama Cody

To be clear, I've only seen bits and pieces of Dramarama...and when I looked into it on Youtube, I specifically searched out his scenes. Like the one where he goes to space...

I thought about it. That said, the Alien Cody we get in WT has a different look from the boy we get in Rama...and he immediately tries to kill Human!Cody. And I'm not sure how to fit the two shows together without weird continuity issues. That's kinda why I focused purely on his personality rather than the contents of the show.

Lmao there's also the fact the story in my mind tends to veer into more serious than silly....and Dramarama is def more silly. Not to say there would be no silliness at all, of course. I do wanna try and keep some of the essence of the established canon and tone intact.

So, I got curious and wanted to see if the Total Drama characters had different names in French cause...you know, one of Canada's official languages is French. Most of them are listed, but not all the characters had name changes. Reddit helped me out a bit with this one

One of the funny things I like about Alenoah is that you can’t have Noah without Owen. Like they are best friends. They are a packaged deal. If Alejandro wants to date Noah (which he really, really wants to), he’ll have to put up with the person he hates the most for the rest of his life. Owen isn’t going anywhere he is here to stay. He will be the best man at their wedding. He’s moving in directly next to them. If they have kids, Owen will be their godfather. Alejandro hates it.

Okay, but imagine, after getting to know Owen outside of the context of the show, he very slowly starts to warm up to him- and hate eventually becomes begrudging tolerance lmao

Especially if we get an Alejandro that's trying to reform himself. Cause fuck his family. And the fact his hatred of Owen is pretty one-sided...for the most part. Owen trying to genuinely form a friendly connection with him would be wholesome af

Random thought...

Noah's Indian...I wonder how many if those customs his family follows. He has a bunch of siblings so...giant family unit seems to be a priority. I wouldn't be surprised if they stick to other beliefs as well.

And then comes the question of Noah himself and whether he rejects or conforms to those beliefs.

This is just random stuff I think about sometimes lmao- I over-analyze a lot sometimes.
