A Ravenclaw, Always With assurance of self and strength of mind, noble purpose in life you're sure to find. Sigil bearer of the silver and blue, a Ravenclaw always, your heart rings true.

Take Heart The stoutest of heart, loyal and just, hard work, patience, to our house entrust. You timid, you meek, you who've had enough, take heart, come grow, in house Hufflepuff.

Our Roar Loyalty fierce and bravery bold, traits of our colors, the red and the gold. The pages of history have heard our roar, Us strong, us proud, us of house Gryffindor.

Power of Self Cunning and ambition our house demands, destiny to grasp with unfaltering hands. Power of self, the strong above the meek, value this and 'tis Slytherin you seek.

Here's the long awaited conclusion to my three rap engineering raps series (and by long awaited I mean like three hours). A Relative Degree: Good afternoon everyone, it appears we have a visitor, I've got some questions for him, call me the Spanish Inquisitor. You're a writer, son, this is a course in engineering, Are you lost? Or did you fail your class on orienteering? You put ink to paper, how dare you mock me? Your jobs needs no experience, not even a G.E.D.! Pole-zero plot? Ha! You're more like a pole plot zero, And within these walls I'm the pole plot hero! You study creative writing? That's a relative "degree," My graduates make more money than you could ever foresee. Recall last week, class, I taught about steady state error, Well this writer's in my world now and I'm his steady state terror! Come into my room to write? Well here's something to record, I'm the T.A. so BA I'm gonna leave you floored. Run away and stay away, don't let me catch you here again, Or I'll crucify your ass so fast they'll call me the professor of Sin!

Heat Transfer (you out of my class)

Welcome to my class, son, you’re about to get learned, I’m the master of Heat Transfer so prepare to be burned! My teaching style’s solid, it ain’t got no flaw, ‘Cause I’m spittin’ facts more definite than Kirchhoff’s Law.

I’m rubber, you’re glue, bro, you’re all absorptivity, Your questions bounce off me like reflective transmissivity. Going nuclear in class, I’m an education sensation, Leave your mind in decay, call it incident radiation!

Want your exam grade back? Man, you gotta be kiddin’ me, I hold on to that information like conservation of energy! Don’t meet me in my office hours, I’m the optimal diffuser, Ain’t got no time for students like you, you’re the optimal loser.

Work your ass off in my class it’s an absolute must, Grading scale so rough it’ll reduce your hopes to chalk dust. Gonna roast you so bad you’ll look like a casualty on M.A.S.H., ‘Cause my lessons are like napalm, burn your ass down to ash!

Engineering Raps

I’m sitting in on my gf’s engineering classes today, so I’m turning the notes into raps. This is the first of three. Class: Mech and Design

Velocity Atrocity:

Attention class, you better listen close, ‘Cause the Doctor’s about to give you a dose, Of Mech and Design and axial force, And the impossibility of passing my course.

In this particular case, recollect if you will, I rock so much science might as well call me Bill. Now some call me “nerdy,” and others say I’m a “dork,” But I blast haters away with my max engine torque!

My textbook’s so heavy it’ll take you down to your knees, Bend you up like an angle, bro, <30 degrees. I’ll math you so hard it’ll be an atrocity, If you dare to question my pitch line velocity!

We’re almost done with my quiz, only two points remain, But the question’s so tough it’ll drive you insane! My class is so stringent only the strongest survive, I’ll fail you on the final with a 59.5.
