i'm gonna be completely serious with you, this blog has been mostly inactive for a couple years now.

look, it's not that i don't agree with the sentiment of it anymore, i'm definitely still anti fontcest, but i made this blog in 2016. when i made the first post for it, i was 14 years old, undertale was just starting to really hit it's stride fandomwise, and you couldn't throw a rock without hitting a piece of fontcest work.

these days, things have slowed down enough that at least me personally, i mostly don't see fontcest unless i look for it. i'm also 22 now, and work a full time job. this was never my main blog, and wasn't even really meant to be my main side project. i garnered a slight reputation as one of the "big anti blogs" mostly by being one of the first and one of the only ones to stick around into 2024, but this was always a little passion project i started on the side because i was a pissed off teenager who kept stumbling across incest drawings.

there's also the more minor fact that i'm just.. not into undertale the way i was when i was 14. it's still a wonderful game, but my special interests shift in nebulous and unpredictable ways, and i just don't think about it much anymore (these days i'm into happy tree friends idk what to tell you)

the long and short of it is that it's been almost a decade since i made this blog. i no longer have the time, energy, or passion to dedicate to running this show actively. simply put, it was simply never going to last forever. it was never meant to in the first place.

there's no need to worry, i'm not like, dead or dying or anything, and i'm not going to delete this blog, but my presence around here is going to mostly be limited to popping in and answering the occasional ask when i get one (which only happens sparingly these days) and the random accidental reblog to the wrong blog that i'll have to scramble to delete (which happens. more often than i'd care to admit). other than that, this blog is going to mostly stay a historical relic of sorts.

and before anyone asks, no, i'm not going to add other mods or pass this blog off to another owner. i'm just possessive like that (≧ڡ≦*)

had a Kralsei and lowkey Krisriel shipper completely unprovoked send me a whole wall of text to my Deltarune/Undertale centered Twitter account self-promoting their fic/”ship headcanon” thing where Kris from Deltarune has inappropriate feelings for Asriel, their brother, but they know it’s wrong and that’s why they settle for Ralsei, who looks like Asriel. Ralsei doesn’t know this. Wtf made them think I was gonna be fine with that.

i’m honestly convinced they don’t Care if the person their sending their stuff to is okay with it. they just want more eyes on the content.

XD Imagine getting mad over a fictional skeleton and a fictional fish being shipped together even though they are not real, then you might argue that the other character is a lesbian, yeah I know that, and I can respect that, but you can’t say homophobic because the people who ship the fish and the skeleton still respect the fish and the lizard/dinosaur ship, and instead of ignoring it since you clearly don’t like it you choose to interact with it, now does that sound right?!

I have a friend who justified shipping Frans by saying that ''Frisk went on a date with Papyrus and Alphys, so they must be around Sans' age." Also apparently they headcanon Frisk to be 3 years younger than Sans and those were the reason they gave me for shipping Frans. Now I have no idea how to respond to them..

just goes to show how bad i am at advice because my first thought was “block em and forget em”

I always hated peoples say 'sans and frisk are not real so frans is okay!' what they said. Frisk and sans aren't real, so? this does change fact that ship is still pedophile? So it's like saying 'child porn is okay because those kids aren't real'.

unfortunately, people DO say things very close to “child porn is okay if the kid isnt real’. many people make basically that exact argument for drawn/simulated child pornography, and stuff like loli/shotacon. the argument goes that because a real child isn’t being harmed, that makes it perfectly peachy. obviously, anyone with two working brain cells to rub together knows that’s not true, but these people aren’t the height of intelligence.

(I went to find proof for my rant below but it seems the account has been deactivated so you’ll just have to take my word on this. This is also gonna be very long, sorry!)

This blog reminded me of something that happened to me a few months ago: I got an angry comment on an Alphyne fic on dA where someone said ships between Frisk, Chara & Asriel are the only good ones because ”everyone else are mentally insane”, Krals_i because ”Kris is a psycho”, and Fontc_st because ”Sans & Papyrus deserve hell” followed by why they don’t ship Alphyne and why I shouldn’t ship it either.

I went to their account to Block because nobody fucking asked.The account was a ”UT/DR Critical Fan” and only had images and custom textbox interactions shitting on the games and characters, claiming both games’ messages are ”flawed and dangerous and Toby sucks for it”, misinterpreting the characters in the worst ways possible to justify a Geno Route (for example: Toriel is an ”abusive narcissist”, Susie is a ”homicidal bully”, or Chara would be disappointed with the Monsters’ ”fall from grace”), and arguing with ”bootlickers who refuse to see the flaws” and getting butthurt when someone argues back. They also touted Frisk as the ”innocent voice of reason uwu”. And unsurprisingly, they had an echochamber of other people who also made similar ridiculous claims.

I know this was just barely related to gross UT ships but it was so bizarre. This person claimed to be a fan of UT btw. (Note: I am NOT against people critisizing the game, it’s just that this person and their echochamber had some of the weirdest takes on UT/DR I’ve ever seen and were constantly arguing in bad faith)

some people’s interpretations of the game are just Out There. if it helps, i know you don’t actually have to go to a persons account to block them on deviantart, you can just copypaste their username into your blocklist.

ok cf i despise how th/egr/eatroug/e does all of her ships, i hate how she made paperfresh a thing, i hate how she did goth/palette in the school au, and hell! this even extends to her other fandoms, cuz she did them dirty too!! honestly i already dislike sanscest, but WHEN U DO IT LIKE THIS,,,,,,,, god. damn

kralsei makes me so uncomfortable.... even if ralsei isn't asriel, they still look pretty much THE SAME. why would anyone actually would like to ship a character with someone who looks exactly as their sibling omg.

it’s only children doing it, i guarantee it. i can’t even imagine dating a guy who had the same NAME as my brother, much less one who looked like him. people without siblings just... don’t have the same hangups, because they don’t have any siblings.

to the chasriel shippers: fun fact!! adopted siblings are still siblings, fontcest may be actually blood-related but they're both family ships, even if one if actual brothers and the other is only adopted. thank you for coming to my ted talk.
