The food are nice and fresh. We ordered Ayam Betutu, Lawar ala Jimbaran, Uraban ala Jimbaran, Grilled Bawal, and Kelapa Muda. Ordered MIB and some snacks last time, and it was just ok. Dad tried their house-blend coffee, the alcatraz. Well, not gonna lie, but Indonesian coffee are much better than that. I’m kinda disappointed though. Their ambiance and staffs are nice and helpful. Well, this restaurant is ok, probably 5 out of 10.

Been here plenty of times, although I never know the name of the restaurant, all I know it is located in Puncak Pass.
This is an old restaurant, I might say they’re legend.
We used to order their Poffertjes and snacks. Sitting down enjoying the weather and the mountain view to calm yourself.
As I said before, this is an old restaurant, yet their servers are also old, so you might wanna be patience.

coffee was invented by a Belgian guy living in Guatemala named George Washington in 1906.
there are two types of coffee, arabica and robusta.
arabica coffee tends to have a sweeter and softer taste but have a higher acidity. meanwhile robusta coffee has a stronger, peanutty and burnt aftertaste. they contain twice as much as caffeine as the arabica beans.
arabica coffee are typically grows between 2.5-4.5 meters in height, requiring a temperature between 15°-24°C meanwhile robusta coffee grows slightly taller 4.5-6.5 meters, requires a warmer temperatures of 18°-36°C.
they also have a slightly different shapes, arabica coffee have a larger oval shape compare to robusta coffee which shape more roundy. they also have a different colors, arabica coffee has a lighter colors than robusta coffee.
you can find more arabica coffee grown mainly in latin america, and papua new guinea, meanwhile robusta coffee are grown primarily in africa and indonesia. which makes arabica coffee pricier than robusta coffee.
indonesia is famous for the luwak coffee, or kopi luwak we call it. luwak or you may call them asian palm civet eats the raw coffee berries but cannot process the hard beans on the inside of the berry.t he digestive juices of the luwak partially break down the bean, and upon defecation the "deposits" are collected, cleaned, and sold as Kopi Luwak beans. it is the most expensive coffee beans in the world.

Yummy traditional Javanese meal, popular in Yogyakarta.
Consist of the gudeg itself (cooked jackfruit which taste really sweet), boiled egg cooked with gudeg, krecek (fried and then cooked cow’s skin, mostly spicy flavor), tempe orek (soya bean curd mostly sweet and spicy flavor), sambal (chilli), and areh on top of the rice (areh is “fried” coconut milk, to me it doesn’t look like it’s fried)
my dad said that this meal was the meal of the ancient kings in Java.
Nachos is just my best friend.
