A haven't posted in a while.
I'm not gonna carry on where I last left off I'm gonna start with where I am now. I started phase 1 of the Dukan diet 4 days ago. I'm currently lay in bed with a yogitea detox and reflecting on how my first 4 days have gone. I really didn't want to weigh myself until the first phase was over but today I couldn't walk past and ignore those scales. So the Dukan diet.....phase 1 involves (depending on the weight loss needed) 1-10 days of protein only. Lean meat, eggs, fat free dairy and small amounts of oat bran. Day1. Insanely hard. Breakfast consisted of scrambled egg and chicken. Lunch was salmon and cottage cheese and dinner was lean steak with gherkins. The headaches from no carbs and sugar kicked in by evening and I was in the worst mood and so hungry. Day2 wasn't much better. I felt rotten but determined to get this stage over. By day 3 I felt better and the meals of chicken Turkey or beef where getting easier - oh my gosh though I needed to poop at this point - enter senakot. Day4 today I'm full of my meals my urge to snack gone and I'm actually feeling lighter???? So I weighed in.... 2 weeks ago in work we started our own fat club I weighed 12.8 the following Wednesday I weighed 12.3 (5lb loss by simply cutting all my vices) Today 4 days since my last weigh in I'm now 11.13 ANOTHER 5LB gone wow I was like whaaaaaat seriously. I'm chuffed. I'm carrying on with phase 1 till Friday and then moving myself into phase 2 I CAN INTRODUCE SOME VEGGIES 👍 if I can get another 5 off before the 6.9.14 that will be a stone off in a month!!!! So Dukan your working for me as much as I want to devour pizza I'm sticking. Tomorrow I start my 30 day circuit I've designed myself I'll post the days and all I need is my 2kg handweights!!!
