So a few days ago, 9/12/14 to be exact, I went to Cafe Maji to celebrate my friend’s birthday.
This place is so cute! It is filled with cute designs, pictures, and things.
Despite the adorableness of this Cafe, it quiet unique to find. It above a gym, and if you do not know of this place already, it could be quiet hard to notice it. But if you do happen to notice it, you must have a really good eye.
Now back to the cafe. There are a lot of books, so if your a bookworm (like me) this place is for you. hehehe.
Now on to the food. The price is quite expensive, especially for a latte, but I guess the latte art makes up for it right?
So I ordered a Green Tea Latte. It came with a little cream puf, which was really good. The latte overall was pretty good. I think the sweetness level is perfect, not too sweet, and not too bland. The Green Tea Latte was $5.25
The birthday girl ordered a Hazelnut Cappuccino. According to her, she said it tasted bitter, but in a good way, and the hazelnut flavor was very faint. She said it was not very sweet, but she loved it. The Hazelnut Cappuccino was $4.50
My other friend ordered an oreo milkshake. She is a BIG oreo fanatic, and said it was pretty good, but the oreo on top was too sweet. The oreo milkshake was about $5.00
In addition to all the drinks, we also ordered food, or as others would call it, dessert. We ordered a strawberry waffle with whip cream. It was DELICIOUS! The whip cream tasted if I am not wrong, fresh, and the waffle was warm. Every bite, it felt like it was melting in your mouth. Simply delicious. The waffle was $6.70. It costed extra for whip cream, but the whip cream is totally worth it.
Ohhhh this place is amaing. In addition to their cute designs and good food, there are cute waiters. Our barista was so cute. He looked half Chinese and half American, but he was so cute (he reminded me of a Taiwanese singer ^-^).
(yes, I am extremely creepy... but back to the cafe)
So the cafe was beautiful they have everything made in front of you (depending on where you sit)
So this this place is adorable. For my first time at a cafe, I was quiet impressed. It was a fun experience, and I would definitely go to another cafe.
