YOUR F/O BOUGHT TOMODACHI LIFE LIVING THE DREAM ON LAUNCH DAY (4/16) AND IS CURRENTLY TRYING TO GET THE MII VERSIONS OF YOU AND THEM TO DATE BTW !!!!!!!!
So I have concepts for a Gavv yumesona/selfshipper and a second Decade one but the thing is the relationships that they both were/are in are of the kinda sorta toxic and fucked up type and I'm thinking. Is that okay? Am I messed up for that or am I just a regular little freak.
When it's your boyfriend's birthday but you only see each other in your dreams
Aka a short little Bakuline thing for Baku's birthday LOL. It kinda sucks but it's a little cute!!
Happy birthday to sweet and precious Baku Yorozu along with his actor Imai Ryutaro!!! 🎉
Things were, fortunately, going well for Baku today. Considering it's his birthday.
Wake up, get absolutely jumpscared out of bed by his sister's congratulatory party horn honking, spend the day together while trying to deal with. Well. Everything. Nearly end the day.
There was just one more thing.
He needed to see Praline today, she said she had a surprise for him after all.
When he went to sleep that night, he was surprised to find the base covered in balloons and ribbons with a cake in the middle of the room.
His sister Minami, along with Nem and Zero (granted, he was here as the CODE Zeroider right now due to reasons) were also just noticing the decorations.
"It must've been Praline's doing." Zero hummed, taking in all the details of their colours and the art on the balloons.
Then, the door opened and the room-decorating culprit herself appeared. Minami still saw her as a 2D character but at least she wasn't freaked out by her anymore.
Even when she went into her Nightmare form.
Praline gasped the second she noticed Baku and ran over to hug him.
"Happy birthday!! It still isn't midnight in the real world right? So we got time to celebrate here too!"
Everyone was here, except for...
"Actually, how did you keep Sieg out of here?"
Praline grinned.
"Hey!! I'm over here, help me get down!!" Sieg's familiar voice made everyone jump a little. They each turn around...
...Only to find Sieg with a rope tied around the waist and suspended in the air with a small foam bat nearby.
"He's gonna be a makeshift piñata tonight. I know we don't need a piñata on your birthday or any celebrations of ours. But tonight I thought it'd be a fun little surprise for you!"
The other four blinked. How the hell did she pull this off...?
"Look, Praline, I know we're not exactly on the greatest terms with Sieg but is this necessary...?" Nem asked, even Minami nodded in approval.
"Oh come on, you guys are no fun~" Praline pouted, though she still went into her Nightmare form and used one of her knives to cut the blond man free.
"You know I could beat you to a pulp, Cakey-girl!" "I'd like to see you try-!"
"Alright alright, both of you calm down." Baku sighs, moving to stand in-between the two to separate them.
"Besides, it's my birthday, we got some other things to do!" He smiles, heading back to the others.
As the night went on, even Nox found time to join them. Much to the man's annoyance, though, Praline seemed to have made it her mission to try and put a silly looking party hat on the man's head.
For once, the group had an uninterrupted good dream where they could just relax and mess around.
With a sight like this, Baku knew his fight would we worth it.
One day, he'd be able to have these kinds of moments in the real world too.
At some point during the night, he pulled Praline to the side while the others laughed together as they held conversations of their own.
"You did something amazing tonight."
Praline smiles at the compliment. "I tried."
She looked at the others, her smile growing fonder. "After all, you deserve all the good things in the world."
Baku smiled at that statement, even his cowlick seemed to curl up a little with joy.
"Thank you, 'Linlin. One day I promise you'll be able to do this in the real world too."
Praline's eyes tear up a little, but her smile stays.
"I'm really, really looking forward to that."
Baku gently wipes a tear from her face and she blushes, gulping a little. Then, she smiles again.
Hello!! First time requesting from you, kinda nervous heh...
If it's okay, may I request Baku/Seven x GN reader where the two know each other irl but don't know about each other's dream personas and they meet in the dream world? Reader's dream persona being an evil magical warrior (is that the gender neutral term for magical girl/boy? Please forgive me if I'm wrong-) because that's just cool.
Whether you accept my request or not, thanks!
Also you definitely don't know me and if you somehow recognize me, shhhhhh
I struggled a bit with the concept but I hope you liked this nonetheless! It was fun to write :)

It was part of his routine, with Minami working a 'proper' job, he was the one in charge of doing the groceries. Usually twice a week, and every time with a visit to the bakery that was just down the road from the grocery store.
Baku adjusted his bag on his back before he pulled open the bakery door, the smell of fresh bread and pastries wafted over him. The little bell rang and he stepped inside of the shop. He lit up seeing who was behind the counter, one of his favourite staff members of the bakery.
"Hello, Yorozu!" You greeted him with a smile, leaning against the counter as he approached you.
"Busy today?" He inquired, adjusting the flannel he wore over his t-shirt.
You waved your hand with a roll of your eyes, and Baku chuckled. "Did that old guy come in again?" And he laughed outright watching you sink down, pressing your forehead into the counter with a groan.
"Every day! He's so weird.." You stood up straight, pouting at him. Baku offered you his sincerest apologetic smile. You grabbed the tongs that were hooked beside the display cases, clacking them a few times. "What can I get you today?"
Baku stepped closer to the display case, looking over the assortment of baked goods. "The usual bread and uhm.. Some of those," he pointed at the cute small strawberry tarts. You loaded up the loaf of bread into one of the paper bags and set it on the counter.
"How many is 'some'?" You giggled as you placed two in the bag, one for him and the sister he had mentioned, before looking up at him for clarification.
The man rubbed the back of his neck, would Nox even like strawberry tarts? It would be rude not to give him any though.. "Five?" He offered bashfully, dropping his hand back to his side.
You filled the bag with some of the strawberry tarts and then stood straight. You placed the tongs on the hook and closed up the bag, placing it beside the bread. You rang up his total and Baku handed you the cash.
"I'll see you around?" He phrased it more like a question and you grinned at him, leaning on the counter. You rested your head in your hand, elbow on the counter as you looked up to him. He picked up the paper bags awkwardly.
"I won't be going anywhere, Yorozu~"
Baku scratched his cheek bashfully, "yeah, I guess that's true." He took a moment, looking around the small bakery. He wasn't really sure what else to say. The last few months acting as a super secret agent and he still wasn't too confidant in the chatting people up department.
"Mhm?"
He opened his mouth to say something else but the bakery door dinged, the door hitting him in the back. Baku winced and stepped away, rubbing the small of his back. You grimaced at the hit before standing straight.
"Hello, Hayashi!" You greeted, giving Baku a sympathetic smile. "Bye, Yorozu! See you on Friday."
"See you then.." Baku left the bakery with his metaphorical tail between his legs. Complete aura loss. It was awful. He sighed loudly as soon as the door shut behind him. He was sure he couldn't be more embarrassing.
Oh well, hopefully the others liked the tarts at least..
He'd been having the same dream for a while now, or rather, he was inside someone else's reoccurring dream. The dream was mostly always the same. The dream would cast him as a masked hero who fought against a magical warrior; also masked.
It was making discerning the identity of the dreamer far more difficult. The nightmare acted like the villain's attack dog, while Nem once more had the unfortunate role of playing the hostage they were all fighting over.
It was getting tiring for Seven, but the spandex made him look good at least. It was a lot of the same, each nightmare a repeat. Though there were some differences, the dreamer was always giving witty one liners fitting of their role.
It was hard to believe such a person had such a nasty dream, but then Seven had sort of gotten used to it with his experience in the dream field.
"I'll put you down this time for sure, dreamwalker!"
"I'd like to see you try Captain Seven~!"
The back and forth was the best part of the dream, at least.
His leg came in contact with their arm, deflecting their attack on him. Though they merely spun, cape flowing around them. Seven barely dodged to the side, grabbing their wrist and spinning them around.
He pressed himself to their back, holding their arm to stop them from struggling. "Looks like I've got you now. You won't be escaping me." He gripped onto them tighter, halting their struggle for the time being.
"This is only a temporary win for you, Captain Seven."
The nightmare roared in the distance, loud and overwhelming. Seven still hadn't quite figured out how to beat it. But he was certain he would this time, rule of threes after all, luck had to be on his side.
Not to mention, he had the fortune of seeing you today. The memory of your smile gave him renewed energy in battle.
"Is it? Cause I have a date with a pretty baker on Friday so I'll be finishing this mission tonight!" That wasn't exactly true, but the tarts in his kitchen were waiting for him, and he was sure he would finally ask you out this time.
"Baku…?"
Their voice was a bit different now, no longer disguised. They stopped struggling in his arms.
"Wait how do you-"
It dawned on him just as suddenly. His name falling from your lips in surprise.
And just like that, the dream was over.
You woke with a start in your bed, eyes widening, face warm. There was no way, right? It just wasn't possible the caped masked hero you'd been fighting in your dreams..
Baku nearly fell out of bed, his eyes the widest they'd ever been. Maybe fixing the nightmare was closer to home than he'd thought..
