“I think telling me the actual time would be a good answer.”
“And why would I possibly do that?”
“No, is my favourite word.”
Well aren’t you just a ton of fun..
“Well, how do you do them, then?”
“Obviously a little magic doesn’t hurt”
Looking at the time, Emil slowly got up from his hiding place position in the back of the library, figuring it was late enough that he wouldn’t see anyone he knew but early enough to not be caught by curfew. He’d been doing it for weeks before today under the guise of “studying” to make sure it wouldn’t be suspicious.
Chino, minding her own thoughts, had wondered down the halls of Hogwarts unaware of exactly where she was going. This had been going on until she realized she was surrounded by books. “Odd... I don’t recall entering the library...” With a shrug she wondered the empty rows lightly tapping the books as she went. Thinking she was alone she was slightly startled when she heard footsteps coming towards her. Noticing it was only a fellow student Chino sighed and rolled her eyes. “Okay, do you prefer the term nerd or dork? Or geek? I forgot about that one...” she thought more to herself before she looked back up at the boy expecting an answer.
“What time is it? I’m genuinely asking. If you say adventure time, I will kick you.”
“It’s like you can read minds.. I was genuine going to answer that but now that you’ve stolen my answer I don’t know what to say.”
“For the millionth time, the answer is no. I’m not going to help you.
“Why is it always that answer.
“That’s the third time I messed up my wings. How the fuck did Cleopatra perfect this?”
“They say you perfect things over time and well...” she tried to stifle a giggle but couldn’t hold it in, “you may need an eternity.”
Like… twenty something odd. You can’t be ten years older than me.
What the hell do you think I am? Your mother?
“Okay..” Felicity said slowly, “That’s kind of an odd request, but I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed in there.”
“I know it’s a little odd, I just would really like to see how it’s run. I’m thinking about taking my magic into the kitchen after I leave Hogwarts and wanted an inside look. Nothing too much you know..” She trailed off.
Why are you always so mean to me anyway, huh Fox? You’re not that much older than me. I think.
Don’t worry, you’re not that special I tend to hate everyone. Exactly how old do you think I am?
“Of course, anything.”
“Ooo! Anything! Hmmm, this might be fun.” Thinking for a moment she became a little more excited. “Do you think you could get me an inside look at the kitchen? I’ve been here for so many years and I’ve never got to experience it in it’s full glory.”
I wrote a script with my brother which ended up, somehow, on the Black List in 2008.
“Well I’m sorry to disappoint you, Miss Fox. Is there anything else I can help you with?”
“Not really, .... though now that you mention it there might be something”
“Following me? Really?”
“Mhmm, I mean I thought you’d do something interesting by now.”
Come on man, you know I’m not like that.
I do now. Frankly I’m a little disappointed in this conversation.
The knowledge and understanding that you can never live a Monday-free life has very detrimental side effects.
Oh, you mean in that manor. I thought you had something a little more dark in mind.
Yes, that’s generally how the days of the week go.
And what if I just want them to go in another order? Or perhaps never happen at all? Isn’t it at all possible to just pretend?
