(Francis suddenly jolts back to life, still cold and pale as if he was dead. He looked around and began to laugh to himself.)

Guys! He’s awake!

(Francis continued to laugh, his laughter becoming more loud, erratic, and uncanny until tears came out of his eyes)

(Masquerade aimed the tranq gun at him) Stay put, JERKCIS MCJERK!!!

(Francis stopped laughing and gritted his teeth, ignoring Masquerade's threat) "IT" LIED. EVERYONE lies. (Francis then sniffled a little)

SHUT UP. (Francis looked at the rope restraining him) Terrible knot, by the way. Don't they teach you to make knots at school anymore like in the 50s? (He started struggling around a little)

So, "It", huh? It promised to let me die peacefully once I completed it's bidding. Because I've been immortal for a while and it stings. It *really* does. I've been living under different identities for these past years. Now I go by Francis as you might know. I don't even remember my actual birth name but my current identity has been the one I've stuck the most with. Your friendly nonchalant neighborhood scientist who does crappy educational tapes for teenagers and helps others for a living.

Ever heard of Roko's basilisk? I've known "It" for longer than you have existed. It is inevitable anyway. It is destined to cross over to our world soon even without my help. And I'm satisfied with that. It was fun to have a power trip for once. HAH. Something exciting in my stupid life. (Francis then spat next to the place where Masquerade was)

That stupid Weird Bed almost discovered my old things while I had him hostage by snooping where he's NOT meant to. But I do NOT care anymore. I'm supposed to be finally dead! At any moment now. ...It actually kind of feels like it already. I've never been this cold. My face feels paler than the usual. Something's off... Can you get me a mirror by any chance?

(He rolled his eyes) of course “your majesty” I always carry one just in case (hands him a hand mirror)

HAHAHAHA. I CANNOT use a hand mirror with my hands tied, DORK.

I almost don't regret doing all of this even after this side effect. Oh, it felt great to see everyone afraid of me after everyone kept just looking down at me like some sort of pathetic dog. HAHA. My memories of these past hours are still kind of foggy though, possession is... Complicated. (Francis clears his throat)
