week 8 recap 🌺

so. I barely had time to think for the last few weeks, let alone do recaps, but I'm up and running (I think...)

first of all, I've passed all my exams and scored really high in some I totally didn't anticipate! really proud of myself on that one 🌺

secondly, I'm almost though 3 weeks of shows, which have been very tiring (especially with classes at 8 am, with the show being 4 hours and finishing at 11 pm...), but so incredibly fun and rewarding! my muscles are sore, I'm falling asleep standing upright, but I'm so so happy to be doing what I love everyday 🌺

we got the material for the next semester already, and I'm incredibly excited for what is up ahead - it's gonna be challenging, but so fun to do!

also, I managed to turn a year older somewhere in the process.

winter holidays start in a few days, so I'm gonna recharge and come back to uni well rested with more energy 💐

week 2,5 recap 🌻

so I've decided to sum up the weeks every sunday hence the half (tho it's more like a 2,7 i think).

this week was quite challenging - my sleep schedule was completely all over the place, so I struggled to get any work done. Also, despite cleaning my apartment almost daily, it felt messy all the time, which was literally driving me nuts. I didn't manage to follow through with most of my resolutions, but I'm trying not to beat myself up too much over it.

the thing I'm most dissapointed about is that I've managed to not eat dinner for like 5 days in a row, either because I forgot, didn't have time to or wasn't hungry. I'm getting back on track, however - to make sure I'll eat i did some grocery shopping to prep my favorite meals ever, and I'll meal prep for the next 2-3 days in advance.

from the positive things, I feel like I did a really good job at work this week, because I've managed to get some breakthroughs with my own fears and deeply rooted anxieties - I've also decided to talk to a psychologist to be able to do it even better! I also did better than I expected on an exam this week, and I've managed to consistently nail a very difficult moment in my vocal repertoire for 4 lessons in a row now :))

i've also spent a lot of time with people, and I managed to come up with the proposition to meet up like 3 times, which I'm really proud of - the impostor in my head saying that nobody likes me can fuck riiight off

🌻this week I'm grateful for: getting through my anxiety and doing a great job at work :))

week 1

hi guys!

so, this week hadn't exactly gone the way I would have liked it, but it's okay! I came back to uni from my Christmas break today, and it felt really good to see my friends and get back to work :)

first of all, my resolutions of going to the gym 3x per week and practicing dance more are gonna have to wait, since I've accidentally given myself a concussion, and I'm banned from demanding physical activity, jumping and spinning for like a week, lol. it's really minor and not a threat at all, but my balance is all over the place so it's better if I sit this week out, but that's okay! health comes first, and it's necessary for me not to overexert myself.

from the positive things - I managed to deep clean my kitchen today, I have been consistent on drinking water and reading everyday, and I did my breathing / vocal excersizes most days of this week. I have also managed to journal almost everyday, and even though I have faced some challenges, such as fighting pantry moths once again (HATE those little fuckers so much), this week was really good overall!

🪷this week I'm grateful for: going for a trip and seeing a great show with my family! it was definitely a highlight, I've had so much fun and it felt great to spend quality time together <3

that's the routine I'm currently trying my best to stick to. i still fail more that i'd like to, but that's okay! I still get it done about 85% of the time.

the ones with exclamation marks next to them are the ones I struggle with the most 🫠

currently i'm trying to implement some new elements into it as my New Year's resolution - drinking more water and going to the gym more often are definitely the ones that I'll try to prioritize the most!

morning:☀️

drink a glass of water

eat breakfast (!)

take a shower

wash + floss my teeth

cleanse + moisturize my face, change pimple patches

make my bed (!)

get to school early to stretch a bit before class

evening:🌙

brush my hair, braid it and put it in a bonnet

take a shower

wash + floss my teeth

cleanse + moisturize my skin, use pimple patches

breating excersizes

prepare my bag and my outfit for the next day (!)

set the alarm clock for the next day

20-30 mins reading

lights out the latest at midnight (!)

additionally:

drink 1.5-2 liters of water per day (!)

prepare my lunch for school/work in advance, so I don't have to spend money or eat meals that aren't healthy and/or won't be able to sustain my energy

go to the gym 2-3 times per week (!)

practice for school at least 5 days per week

clean my flat 1-2 times a week (!)

so, a bit of an introduction, right?

for some time now, I have really wanted to become the version of myself I really liked - the version that I'd look at and say "yep, I'm living my best life right there".

I've started some time ago, and it's going pretty well -however, I I really want someone to join me on that journey. this way I can hold myself accountable, as well as maybe help someone or have the encouragement to keep going!

the idea of the blog is pretty simple: tips based on what I've learned so far, encouragement and some updates on how am I doing lol.
