hii! i really love your prompts! <33 can i have more enemies to lovers ??
Hi :)
There are so many enemies to lovers prompts already...
Enemies to lovers
More enemies to lovers prompts
Enemies to lovers - Falling for the flirt
Enemies to lovers - Given up on life
Meet Ugly College AU (Enemies to lovers)
Co-workers hate to love prompts
More Co-workers hate to love prompts
And there are a lot more asks about how to write it and there are even more asks in my inbox right now for it. So I'm a bit uncreative at the moment when it comes to just enemies to lovers in general without a specific background. Hope you understand.

protective enemies to lovers prompts
you're in grave danger, and when you think all hope is lost, your enemy swoops in and saves your life. later on, as they're tending to your wounds, you confront them, asking them what it was that made them put their own life at risk for you
“ why did you do it? why did you save my life? “
“ you said you wanted me dead. “ “ i changed my mind. “
“ what changed your mind? “ you. “
your enemy has never before let you touch or use their favorite weapon. until today.
you've been asking your enemy to borrow a revolver, and you discover that they've carved their initials into it. before you go to return it, you carve in your own
your enemy is doubting your ability to take care of yourself, and doesn't think you're capable of disposing of a threat. you later on prove them wrong, either by stabbing a guy or shooting him, without hesitating, and your enemy is genuinely impressed (and turned on) by it
“ i shouldn't have kissed you. “ “ you're right. but i should've. “
you're tending to your enemy's wound, and your enemy traces their fingers along side your body, grabbing your face. “ look at me. “ they say, because you're also bloody and bruised, and your enemy has this look on their face that could only be read as whoever did this to you, i will find, and i will kill every last one of them
“ i've never been in love before. “ “ me neither, but this is starting to feel like it. “
saying “ i will never love someone like you. “ and having your enemy take a step closer, looking deep into your eyes, while saying “ say that again. “ you can't. the things you feel now is unlike anything you've ever felt before
you show up at your enemy's house, and your enemy is mocking you at first, until they come to notice that you're upset over something. really upset.
“ i know we're not friends, but i don't really have anywhere else to go. “
“ you could stay here, tonight. for as long as you'd like. “
your enemy is set to be executed, and you're kicking and screaming, begging the antagonist to release them, as your family and friends watches from the sidelines, being exposed to your feelings for their enemy
your enemy offers you to sleep in their bed, seeing as you need rest “ you're not going to kill me in my sleep, are you? “ “ i'll try keeping myself at bay. “
you've just been dumped, and go to your enemy's house with the intention of sleeping with them, hoping it will mend your pain “ what do you need? “ “ i don't want to feel. i don't want to feel anything. i just... i can't deal with this broken heart anymore. “
you and your enemy is about to kiss, but you pull away last second “ i'm sorry. i can't. not tonight. “
your enemy denies their feelings for you, but the antagonist stabs you to prove a point. your enemy screams in horror. as the antagonist pulls out the knife and you drop to your knees, your enemy sprints over to you, trying to stop the bleeding, begging you not to close your eyes. when you're safe, and not at risk of dying, they pull you closer, nuzzling their head into the crook of your neck
your enemy has never let anyone touch their scar, until you come along
“ could you ever love someone like me? “
when your enemy finds out that your partner cheated on you, your enemy makes it their mission to get your partner to realize just what they missed out on. you might not get along, but you respect each other's strengths
you enter your enemy's cabin, holding a dagger. you walk up to your enemy, only stopping an inch from their face. you drop the dagger, and say; “ kiss me. “
your enemy has lost their most priced possession, which could also be used against them. one day, you find it. you can either return it, or share it with your group.
you get caught checking out your enemy's body “ stop staring and come touch me.
your enemy is wounded. “ are you okay? let me see... “ your enemy shoves your hand away, not wanting to appear weak; “ i'm fine. “ “ you're bleeding. “ a beat, you try again; “ just let me take a look. “ once again, you're shoved away, but eventually, your enemy turns to you; and you're allowed to touch their wound. there's trust.
“ i've never been in love before. “ “ then let me show you. “
F O R E H E A D K I S S E S
“ i'm sorry that i stabbed you. “ “ i probably deserved it. “
you hug your enemy, and as you pull back, your enemy pulls you even closer
you're scared of thunderstorms, and your enemy offers to hold you the entire night, seeing as they're not going to get any sleep if you're jumping out of bed every five to ten minutes, screaming your lungs out
“ so you'd rather kill me? “ “ absolutely. “ “ then kill me. “ “ okay. “ proceeds to press their lips to their enemy's, igniting a make-out session
you're in a stressful situation, and it's making you anxious. your enemy is the only one noticing something is wrong, and grabs your hand. you're shocked at first, but as their eyes meet yours, you intertwine your fingers, grateful for the comfort
“ don't get it twisted. right now, i'd rather kiss you than kill you. “

A Horror Beat Sheet
There are no hard-and-fast rules in writing fiction. There are, however, some established patterns and expectations, and once you know them, you’ll be able to work within those patterns and deviate from the path as you see fit.
What is a Beat Sheet?
Popularized by Blake Snyder’s book Save The Cat, beat sheets are an outlining method often used for screenwriting that some authors have started to use for books as well. Basically, a beat sheet lays out the story ‘beats’ or necessary plot points that make up the essential story structure. The Hero’s Journey is, essentially, a beat sheet. You can see more beat sheet information here: https://timstout.wordpress.com/story-structure/blake-snyders-beat-sheet/
Horror has a slightly different structure than other stories, and for that reason I don’t think a classic beat sheet works quite right for it. So with that in mind, here is my somewhat adapted version, drawn from my studies of horror media. Various beats can be reorganized somewhat, and will vary a bit depending on sub-genre and other considerations. But if you need help in establishing a horror plot…this beat sheet should help guide the way.
Horror Story Beat Sheet
Act One (The Setup):
1 - The World is Not What it Seems
(The reader catches an early glimpse of the monster, or a hint that the monster exists. This is optional, and may occur right away – often as a prologue – or after the main characters have been introduced.)
2 - Putting the Players in Action
(You introduce the important characters and the primary internal conflict)
3 - Setting them on the Path
(The characters make a choice that inadvertently isolates them or places them on a collision course with the monster)
4 - The Warning
(The characters are given an opportunity to turn back, but choose not to; could occur before or after The First Contact With The Monster.)
5 - The First Contact with the Monster
(The characters have their initial contact with the monster, but are unaware of the true threat it poses.)
Act Two (The Turn): 6 - Shit Gets Real (May be the first death or when seriously spooky activity begins; regardless, this is when the danger becomes evident and unavoidable)
7 - The Chase (The monster pursues the characters, who lack the skills to fight it; one or more people may die here)
8 - Failed Confrontation (The main character attempts to destroy the monster, but does not yet possess the ability to do so)
9 - The Darkest Hour (Hope appears lost. Perhaps someone very important has died, or the hero has tried everything they can think of. The link between the internal conflict and monster may become clear to the character here)
Act Three (The Prestige): 10 - A Different Solution (The hero gains new information on how to defeat the monster. This may be delivered by someone they seek out for help, or may come through soul searching and observation.)
11 - Seeking Out the Beast (For the first time, the hero approaches the monster, rather than fleeing it. They intend to enact their solution)
12 - The True Cost is Revealed (In the process of confronting the monster, the hero realizes that to overcome it, the internal conflict must be encountered and defeated. That is the hidden cost; the hero will be irrevocably changed)
13 - Sacrifices Are Made (or not) (Faced with the ultimate choice, the hero either succeeds in defeating their internal conflict and winning against the monster, or fails and ultimately succumbs to their weakness)
14 - The Inevitable Fall Out (Show the consequences of whichever choice is made)
15 - Evil Cannot Be Conquered, Only Delayed (If the hero failed #13, show the monster relishing its victory in a changed world. If the hero succeeded, show a hint that the monster may yet return. )
—- I think you will find that if you compare many, many, many horror stories against this beat sheet, you will see versions of this structure/pattern. I encourage you to try it. I’ll post some plot studies of my own to show you later.
There is no single “right” way to write a story, and I certainly don’t think you must follow this structure in order to be successful. But I can guarantee you that following this structure will give you the framework necessary for a complete and emotionally satisfying horror story.
Caveat: this beat sheet is meant for long-form stories such as novels and films. Short stories follow a very different structure. We can talk about that in a later chapter.

Deadly Poisons to Use in Your Next Story: Part Two
Hello, hello again! Here I am and back with part two of deadly poisons. It was suggested to me, that maybe I should incorporate images of the plants in my post, so incorporate images I shall. So let’s dive right in!
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any decisions or actions you decide to take regarding this information. This is all in good fun for writing. I am in no shape or form teaching anyone how to commit murder.
1. Henbane: is sometimes known as the “devil’s eyes,” due to the black colored stigma (center of the flower). This plant was used in witchcraft and black magic. It was said during these time periods that the flowers would look and smell like death. Do not confuse henbane with belladonna. All parts of the plant is considered highly toxic. Smelling the toxic leaves causes dizziness, stupor, insanity, dry mouth, dilated pupils, restlessness, hallucinations, delirium leading to a potential coma, and eventually death. The medicinal uses of this medicine include being used as a painkiller, anesthetic, treatment of Parkinson’s and rheumatic aches and pains.
Toxicity: 99
Medicinial Use: 80
Mortality Rate: 79
Temptation to Use: 13
2. Arum Maculatum: also known as the cuckoo pint, or ladies and swords, or Adders Tongue. It is found growing in the woodlands and hedgerows. It is one of the most toxic wild plants and is said to smell of rotten meat. If eaten is can cause irritation of the mouth and tongue, swelling of the throat, difficulty breathing, burning pain, and upset stomach, as well as intense convulsions and death. This plant has been used to treat diarrhea, sore throats, rheumatic pain, as well as removing freckles and blemishes.
Toxicity: 87
Medicinal Use: 70
Mortality Rate: 80
Temptation to Use: 1
3. Opium Poppy: scientifically known as papaver somniferum. These plants have brightly colored petals, but do not let that fool you. Opium is the second biggest killer. Being poisoned by opium can cause anyone to behave erratically, sudden lost of appetite and fall into a stupor or potentially even a coma. Eventually resulting in death. Talk about looks can kill! Yet, despite all this this plant is also the basis for many effective painkillers such as morphine and codeine.
Toxicity: 75
Medicinial Use: 87
Mortality Rate: 81
Temptation to Use: 91
4. Salvia Divinorum: it is also knowns as magic mint, Sally-D, Diviner’s Sage, Ska Maria Pastora, Seer’s Sage, Sheperdess’s Herb, Lady, Sally, Purple Sticky, and Incense Special. It is a very powerful and fast acting hallucinatory herb that has become very popular among teenagers. It can mimic the effects of LSD and ecstasy, though its effects only last about eight minutes. It is not safe to consume as it leaves the user mumbling, giggling, screaming, gasping, synthesia, and confused. The DEA find it harmful for anyone who would use it. It is often used in stead of marijuana. It can be used for digestive problems, sore throats, and colds.
Toxicity: 30
Medicinial Use: 47
Mortality Rate: 64
Temptation to Use: 51
5. Datura: also known as Jimson’s Weed. It is a wild plant that grows all across the U.S. It’s pure white color will try and lure you in, as well as its intoxicating scent. This plant however, is a powerful hallucinogen and can render you incapacitated, creating the appearance that you are awake. It is considered a nightshade. This plant is used to calm people to sleep, but if the proper doses aren’t used it can relax you to the point of death.
Toxicity: 53
Medicinal Use: 24

Writing Relationships: Enemies to Lovers.
And other ‘hate to love’ relationships.
These types of relationships can be some of the most interesting and enjoyable, both to read and write, because they show us many sides of the same characters and the growth from a hatred to mixed feelings and finally to genuine love and acceptance is often heartwarming to experience. But relationships like also require finesse to portray in a believable, healthy manner.
Before we begin, some ground rules:
1. Stay away from abuse.
A hate to love relationship is not an “abuse to love” relationship, and none of these tips are aimed toward writing such a thing. Check this list for things to keep out of your healthy end-game relationships.
2. These characters need to be ‘ship-able’ already!
If your character would not naturally end up in the end-game relationship, you’ve got a problem. The character’s ability to be friends – shared interests, enjoyment of each other’s company, comparability in communication – is crucial for the transition from hate to love.
Now then, how do we set up this hate to love relationship?
1. Examine why the characters hate each other.
There’s a slew of different reasons two characters might start out hating each other, including (but certainly not limited to):
They come from opposing sides of a war, feud, or have some other group-oriented dislike.
They have very bad first impressions of each other.
They already hold distasteful misconceptions about each other based on what trusted companions have told them.
One (or both) of them are acting or believing something the other has good reason to hate.
In order to pull off the first part of the relationship – the hate – you have to both have a reason for the characters to hate each other and convince the reader that the reason is a good reason.
Unless you’re writing in omnipresent, you’re telling the story through your character’s eyes. No matter how good their current ‘enemy’ may be on the inside, the pov character won’t be looking for that goodness. They’ll see all the flaws and turn offs they anticipate the character to have, and this will likely (hopefully) effect them on an emotional level the reader can connect with.
2. What needs to change for this hate to be repealed?

Planning to write a novel in 2021?
When starting a new writing project, it’s difficult to grasp just how much effort it will take to finish it. That’s why more than 90% of novels end up unfinished.
I’m not trying to deter you from writing. This is a writing motivation blog after all. But I believe that the best way to succeed is to know what you’re signing up for. It’s a slog. You have to be ready.
Before you roll up your sleeves and start grinding, take some time to figure out how long it will take.
Last year, I built a simple writing planner that will help you with just that.
Put in your book target and choose which days of the week will you write. Then set a deadline or a daily goal. The planner will calculate your writing schedule.
You can tweak any of the inputs and see it update to find the right balance of daily goal/deadline. Set your daily goal too high and risk burning out. Set it too low and risk losing motivation along the way. It may take a few attempts to find the sweet spot.
The writing planner is free to use. No need to sign up.
You’ll find it here: https://www.writinganalytics.co/planner
And if you’re looking for the right tool to track your writing projects and daily word counts, check out Writing Analytics.
