The Forest Children

Forest Children Discord server and it's same name in-game Linkshell and fellowship, is a Traditional Keeper of the Moon Roleplay community. Located on the Mateus Server in the game Final Fantasy 14; Forest Children's main focus is to be a place where the traditional Keepers of the Moon may talk about Traditional Keeper RP and make RP connections! It's no surprise then that we here in Forest Children are interested in serious Traditional Keeper RP/people who want to RP functional clans within the lore of the FF14 universe.

This moon, we will be honoring Rhalgr, Breaker of Worlds, and God of Destruction. To celebrate we will be hosting The Breakers Brawl, an unarmed brawling competition. No magic and no weapons are allowed. The event is open to all miqo'te from traditional clans or tribes and one representative from each tribe or clan can participate. Spectators from all races are welcome to come and watch our competitors as long as they remain respectful. Eight spots are available for competitors and sign-ups are first-come, first-serve. We will also have several prizes available to our lucky winners including:

First Prize: Choice of Dalamascan Shirt or one (1) piece of Southern Seas attire Second Prize: Hunting Hawk Third Prize: Road Sparrow Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth: A shout out and thank you for participating.

In honour of Byregot , The Forest Children will be hosting The Builders’s Bazaar, an artisan market where artisans are welcome to purvey their wares and offer their services. We are currently seeking artisan and merchants for the event. If you are interested in signing up your character as a merchant or artisan, please fill out the form here. Merchants and Artisan Rules: 1.  If you -CAN NOT- make the event for any reason, you must contact an admin at least 24 hours prior to the event. 2. Merchants are expected to show up 15 minutes before the event begins so that Admins may assign 'booth space' and go over any changes that may have happened last minute. 3. Merchants must sell wares that fit the theme of Byregot- If you're not sure feel free to contact a Admin on discord or in-game at anytime! They will be more than happy to help you out! 4. All currency is ic and no ooc gil is to be traded. If any gil/donations are offered forth, all merchants are asked to refer them to the Food Booth (which will be doubling as the Forest Children donation booth). All donations will be used for future Forest Children Events (Example: Prize money for future competitions, covering giveaway prizes, etc.).

Clan Eftmaw and The Forest Children Present: The Wanderer’s Open Archery Competition

In celebration of Oschon’s moon, The Forest Children will be collaborating with Clan Eftmaw to host The Wanderer’s Open, a traditional shortbow archery competition. During this moon, Clan Eftmaw call upon other Miqo'te to select one representative from their tribe or clan to participate in a three-part competition of archery prowess using the shortbow. While the competition is strictly for miqo’te only, all races are welcome to join in spectating as these talented archers compete to see who will be the winner in this turn’s Wanderer’s Open. Rules for The Wanderer’s Open are available here.

We will also be offering first, second and third prizes for our lucky winners.The prizes are:

1st prize: Dalmascan attire of choice

2nd prize: Hunt Hawk

3rd Prize: Road Sparrow

The Forest Children is a traditional Keeper of the Moon community located on Mateus but is open to anyone on the Crystal datacentre.
