43/50. ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
I found this book a little hard to get into at the start, but I think that was part of the appeal, we judge the main character's demeanor, just as everyone else in her life does. It was a pretty unique telling of trauma, and I loved that it didn't have the usual trope of switching to a romance novel.
A lovely little free library walk today! 🌿
The sun hitting the bookshelves just right 🥹
It's so important that I have a book to read at all times.
Libby is forever like "ok sure that book will be 4 days and this one will be 6 weeks and that one 8 months" ......😏....... "Jk here's all 10 after 1 week"
March reads:
- Orbitting Jupiter
- Part of your world
-Just for the summer
-City of girls
-Honey girl
-In five years
-Wish you were here
-The Nightingale
-Yours truly
-Shoot your shot
-One last stop
-A man called Ove
-Where the crawdads sing
-Broken Country
-We'll prescribe you a cat
-Dont call me Daddy
Fav read: The Nightingale (this is hard. There were 5 books on here that I'd give 5 stars - I am generous with my 5 stars, but still)
Least fav: Shoot your Shot
Currently reading: Memoirs of A Geisha

free museum trips are wasted on unappreciative middle schoolers. let me go
Read this in one sitting last night. I might not add this one to my book journal but it made for a fun night lol. Today I'm back to Memoirs of a Geisha
Gotta balance my heavy historical fiction & memoirs out with some smut books that never should have made it past the first edit
did my favorite things this weekend because my birthday is coming

03/22, doing some back log this week! I’ve been working on some great things for anyone that is interested!!
Always
another person who thinks about book series rather than individual books, the wheel of time but mostly thinking about what happens after the series
Omg yes I totally get that, thinking about what happens after. It's been so long since I read an actual series. I remember being a kid and being sooo excited for the next book or a series coming out, that was so fun.
