Found this exploring an old graveyard in Midway, UT. The odd part wasn’t the broken grave, but the circle of dead grass around it.

The dead get upset when their graves aren’t blessed or if they are desecrated, they make a lot of noise and the grass dies around the grave. Go to the cemetery every now and again and listen to them, let them know they aren’t forgotten.

Remains of ‘Maya Underworld’ found in the world’s longest underwater cave. Inside this cave system, archaeologists have found a time capsule. They found 200 spots with archaeological remains, including Maya altars, ancient human bones, and the fossils of extinct animals such as cave bears.

Algonquin Wolf skull, aka the Eastern Wolf. These are a small wolf subspecies located in Eastern Canada that crossbred with coyotes to create the Eastern Coyote. There has been a push in recent years to not only identify this creature as it’s own species, but also to provide protections for it so that they don’t suffer the same fate as the Red Wolves of the southern states. Due to human encroachment on their territory and lack of mates, the species stated commonly crossbreeding with coyotes in the area, thinning out their unique gene pool. The issue is that many people have trouble identifying the wolves from the eastern coyotes, and many of the protections the wolves need in those areas would also have to cover the coyotes to ensure no wolves are taken by hunting and trapping. Unfortunately this isn’t a very popular option among hunters, leaving the Algonquin wolf threatened by coyote hunting.
