My current passion- Mystic Heart Odyssey

So yeah, I thought I should introduce my current passion project here before I poof again. I'm writing a story (that I hope to eventually turn into a visual novel or something) called Mystic Heart Odyssey. It's a furry adventure romance story set in a more primitive fantasy setting.

Lykou is a chronically upbeat, overly-friendly konuul (husky/wolf hybrid, basically) who dreams of seeing the world outside his home's secluded and largely isolated forest valley. Kuna is a jumpy, sarcastic, and antisocial sereva (deer, basically) who has trust issues and a troubled past. During a sudden and ominous freak thunderstorm full of strange magical energies, the two end up inadvertently taking shelter together in a small cave, where they end up spending the night to wait it out.

When they wake up the next morning, they find themselves transported to a strange far-away land. Forced to work together to survive and get their bearings, they end up traveling together and going on a series of adventures as they journey around a large and strange world in search for the way back to where they came from. Along the way, they get to know more about themselves and each other, and gradually go from being total strangers to being the best of friends, and eventually something more.

The story is now broken into parts or 'episodes', most of which are multiple chapters in length. The best place to read the story now is probably AO3 (Archive of Our Own), since it does not require an account to read anything, and it also has the best presentation for reading stories. That said, it is also cross-posted to SoFurry, Weasyl, InkBunny, and FurryNetwork. (Fair warning, both InkBunny and FurryNetwork eat the formatting and don't present the text especially well. Additionally, FurryNetwork keeps chapters in an inexplicably disorganized mess for reasons I can't fathom.)

Please consider giving it a read if it sounds at all interesting to you, and be sure to let me know what you think if so! I'm always looking for feedback! And that includes both positive and negative.

Oh hi

So I guess my blog isn't completely unviewable anymore somehow. Not that I intend to stick around as long as the stupid fucking "no sexually explicit content" rule is still around. Which is a shame, because I was under the impression they'd finally reversed that stupid decision, but I guess not. In any case I've seen more people linking to tumblr again since the big (former) blue bird hellsite started collapsing.

In any case I just wanted to say, on the offchance anyone still follows this thing, yeah, I'm still alive. I actually have like a dozen or so profiles on different sites nowdays, but I'm probably most active on Itaku, CoHost, InkBunny, SoFurry, and Weasyl. You can find links to those and all my other profiles at my carrd site.

I've actually been working on a big project since March called Mystic Heart Odyssey, which I'll make another separate post about. I do hope some of you come say hi on CoHost or one of those other sites!

Didn’t check tungl for like a month, hehe. I’m... not gonna bother catching up this time. I’ve just been going through and adding some blogs that don’t have a presence besides here (or, worse, Twitter) to my rss reader. Still haven’t gotten everyone, but eh. Working on it. So I thought I’d pop back briefly to see the aftermath, but apparently they broke the dashboard? Because I’m stuck on the first page and can’t go back further than that. Whether I use the buttons at the bottom or just type in “www.tumblr.com/dashboard/5“ or “www.tumblr.com/dashboard/page/5″ something like that, it always just shows the first page. And then I heard from others on discord that apparently people are stuck in explicit mode? Looks like that applies to me too, so I wonder if anyone will even be able to see this >_>

I wonder just how much of the staff’s neurology is made of dustbunnies and bits of string, lol.

It’s 11 pm here but I know it’s midnight in EST, so I’m going to pop off. Been a wild ride, Tungl. You’ve been a shit site for years that right deserves to burn, but at least there’ve been a lot of fantastic creative folks here over the years. I probably definitely spent way too much time on this site, but times are a changing now.

I was originally planning to just drop my visits down considerably just to check on the remaining sfw blogs not jumping ship, but I’m not even sure about that, honestly. Might just bookmark them and check them occasionally, and let my blog fade. Either way, I probably won’t be reblogging or posting here anymore.

In case anyone wants to find me, I’ll primarily be on InkBunny, as well as lurking Newgrounds, FurAffinity (with extreme reluctance), e621, and Derpibooru. And maybe SoFurry.

I absolutely will not be active on Twitter, because fuck that site.

TGWeaver’s Trash Pile will now be doing scheduled updates!

With Tumblr going down soon, I need to pick up the slack fast. That’s why starting now, instead of the current trend of unpredictable batch uploads, my site and gallery will now feature an archive update and batch image upload regularly, every Saturday!

There may be other updates along the way, but you can expect a full batch of 64 images (and sometimes more!) being uploaded. This includes archival work, and starting now, will also include any NEW art I’ve made since the last update!

What does this mean for you?

It means ALL my newest art will be available in one place!

As a result, from now on, anything I make will go up on the site within 1 week. There’s now no easier way to keep up with me! Additionally, all my old and archived work from the past years, across various IPs and fandoms, will also continue to be uploaded to the same gallery.

By now, we all know the fuckkery  tumblr is pulling. so have some temporary nudity for a blog i have always wished i had more time for. (pic to be deleted later)

so whats the future? in the last few years iv’e spent an amazing time vending at conventions nearly year-round, meeting friends, growing my relationships, traveling, making more content, and getting to work on 3 separate book projects, and by now, i am very very tired.

So sadly, I just never have the time to update the blogs i want to, and with next year being the last bronycon, i may not in 2019 as well.

So odds are i wont be able to find time to rhythmically answer questions again, but i can hope i’ll find a few slivers of time someday soon, before the fandom fads away into the sunset.

For the inevitable purge I decided to created a FurAffinity account in case I want to keep posting things after the fact. So if anyone cares to keep following my art, you can find that here:
