So my BFF (the Naomi to my Seiko) wants to watch the OVA with me...

…I’ve already seen it in its entirety and like I said in another one of my posts, it’s the WORST adaptation of ANYTHING I have ever seen. Like, the Catwoman movie is better than this thing. Sure, there’s that mind-blowingly amazing thing Kizami did (honestly, it was so awesome I rewound that part 5 times!) But just so awful, guys. It’s the ultimate insult to Corpse Party die hard fans. I don’t know if I even want to put her through it–let alone myself through it again. (Yes, I know it’s based off of the WORST possible ending of the game, but it’s still bad.)

UPDATE: we watched it. It was stupid and parts made us laugh (Ms. Yui talking to Ayumi scene) but it was far better than I remember it. The voice acting is spot on and amazing. The animation was beautiful and horrifyingly detailed. The sounds and music are the essence of the atmosphere. Yeah, parts of the plot are nonsensical at times but to be fair that happens in the ending that the OVA is based on. Overall, if you’ve played the game and got the good ending, go watch this.
