Ky’lar knew fully well the consequences of his actions, playing with Hellfire was something not many would have done, and he knew exactly that it would lead him down this route. He couldn’t just do anything once —- it would happen again, again, and again. He was a creature of habit and one that would always end up making the same mistakes several times over.
It was, more than just a fatal flaw, but one that in essence defined him in a way, and one he could never escape. Summoning anything had it’s price, he paid that price over, and over again. Sure, he knew this was risky, and that eventually he would get found out again. Grounding always happened anyways. Not that it mattered too much, he doubted anyone wound find out, and if they did? Ky’lar would simply have to deal with it… in the only way he knew possible. Lying.
“I know you’re here, Etrigan. Are you really going to hide?”
It would have been so simple for Etrigan to keep hidden, but he was a man Demon of his word. He might have been many things and while some of them were false? He couldn’t deny that this would be amusing. One way or another, they both would end up in some respects in each other’s debt, and both of their.... plans would come to fruition.
Either way, hiding wasn’t something on his mind as Etrigan’s arms folded calmly across his chest. He was at least being decent despite the situation they were both in for the most part.
“Trying to hide aside, your pride must be DRIED before you spark a divide, Ky’lar.” It was then the demon pause, “In simple words? Don’t underestimate yourself or overestimate yourself.”
