it's ridiculous that people think arryn has ANY reason to lie. if she just "wanted attention" or to "take a stab at bob" all she'd have to do is point to the public abuse she's endured from his stans for 5 years and bob's complete silence on it. or she could have just brought up the cheating that's been obvious since the wedding announcement. what on earth would she gain by risking herself to throw lies into the mix when there's undeniably true things she could stick to taking him to task for?

that’s one of the more baffling parts of the whole ‘tHeRe ArE tWo SiDeS tO tHe StOrY’ argument. yeah, she’s totally gonna lie and publicly accuse her ex of abuse that didn’t happen.. when his fans threw SO much hate down her way just for breathing in his direction. she damn well knows how toxic the fandom is and yet... told her story.

make it make sense. (really, they just want to wait for his story, believe his lies, and stan without feeling bad. ah, i love misogyny.)

And you just know when (if) he talks about his world will be enough to weight more than hers, will be enough to forget about the "both sides", that his world, and only his, is testament enough of true and no one of the "2 sides group" will come out and say "maybe he is the one lying". Both side is excuse to gain time until their fave can get a good PR, so they can "stan" again without looking bad.

I'm so disappointed in everyone. For years we saw Bob and Eliza as nothing but kind, loving and caring people. Loved by their familys, the cast, everyone. Bob has helped so many of you and it takes only one person which possible false accusations or at least not telling the whole truth to turn your back on them? It's just sad.

let me tell you a story.

i met a guy. he was super charming with great smile that could’ve sucked you in. he bought his wife on vacations, spoiled her with gifts. dogs loved him. he was extremely generous with me and paid for my meals.

his wife lost a kidney because of his physical abuse. he threatened to kill his own children. that was only the tip of the iceberg. 

now... he wasn’t horrific to me specifically, therefore he couldn’t have been horrific to other people. so i’m gonna tell my friend she’s a liar? no, i believed her the first time.

that is what abusers do. they do it behind closed doors. but in public, they’re extremely charming and generous, often pillars of the community. they break down the people they claim to love, then go out for a friendly beer with a friend who does not know. 

you know how often people like arryn lie? the number is less than 2%.

please educate yourself on this and read up statistics of domestic abuse because what you read will horrify you. maybe you will find it in your heart to gain empathy for what people like arryn go through every day. 

this post makes a mockery of what survivors like her go through. it’s why so many of them hold it in and wait literal years, sometimes decades to tell their story because we have people like you that claim it’s not possible for someone who presents themselves as a nice person to be a horrific piece of shit.  because you demand a burden of proof and ask them to relive the horrors they went through.

 it’s extremely foolish to think he can’t be horrific because he wasn’t horrific 100% of the time.

The reason people want to ear both sides, is because it *IS* fucking possible she's lying. It's is ALWAYS possible someone could be lying. Man or woman. I 100% support Arryn, but people just want to hear both sides.Maybe don't be a dick about it when some people are learning the person they supported and looked up to did some horrible things. People are just hoping it's not true so they want to hear both sides. If a man came out with being verbally abused id want that for that situation too.

if you side with the abuser which you basically are by saying you need to hear the other story, you’re denouncing what people like arryn go through and basically saying they aren’t valid. you’re basically silencing past, present, and future victims of abuse by demanding more. you’re basically wanting them to defend what they went through, which is so, so, so fucked up on SO many levels that i can’t even put it in words. 

it’s not always possible, the fuck are you on? statistics clearly show that they’re telling the truth a huge majority of the time.  get the fuck outta here with this victim blaming shit. i’ve loved people who turned out to be fucking awful, you know what i did? i denounced what they did and stopped supporting them immediately. simple as that. it’s also basic human decency? which you clearly don’t have bc you’re on the opposite corner sending me this ask.

damn, like this survivor’s words aren’t enough, you need  1080p hd videos with perfect clear cut audio of the monstrous things he threw her way.  makes sense. you’re basically wondering why she put up with it and for years too. and that’s just so very deeply problematic. you especially don’t understand why making it so you need to hear the other side complicates the healing process for her (and many others in the same situation) as is.
