Midday Mischief || Florence & Miyako
"You’re lucky you had someone to raise you." Miyako closed her eyes for a moment, shuddering at the memories of being lost in the forest. How long had it taken for her to finally turn her fear into anger? "I was alone, but I learned to survive." She also practiced her magic, learning that anger made it a lot stronger.Â
"Did you ever find out what happened to your parents?"
Florence couldn't even imagine being alone in the woods for a whole day, but Miyako had lived there for years - long enough to teach herself the ropes and accept that it would be her home for the rest of her life. It was a terrifying thought. "That explains why you're drawn to the forest here," Flo muttered. "Ah... no. Well, I can put the pieces together. They probably sailed away to finish up whatever business they needed to address then realized they liked that place better than our old home. I don't blame them." Yes I do. "This happened years and years ago. I don't care about what they're doing anymore." Florence bit the inside of her cheek and turned to Miya. "How'd you end up here at the academy?"
