What sort of music do you like ?

So my music taste works on "if it sounds nice, play it twice."

I love Indian indie music. And especially the independent artists like Ritviz, Gini, Chaar Diwaari, Anuv Jain and many more.

Also a big fan of Pakistani music. In fact, my favorite music band is AUR, which is Karachi-based. Other artists like Talha Anjum and Asim Azhar are also my type.

Apart from Hindi and Urdu, there's English obv. Taylor Swift is the best, obv. Then there's Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Kali Uchis, One Direction, Laufey, and music from different random artists too.

Special highlight, CITIZEN THE ARTIST and Jessica Baio. Indeed my favorites. Also John Michael Howell is one of the underrated ones, I believe. JVKE is pretty obsessing too.

I don't binge listen to single artists tho, individual songs usually. Literally 8+ languages. Punjabi, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Urdu, English, Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, Haryanavi and maybe more.

I'm a mix of all. It's like anyone could get like atleast 70% taste match.

P.S. bollywood music is ofc the best of all. Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal and Atif Aslam are, no doubt, my favorites too.

There's other kind of songs that either I can't describe or it'd take too much to describe it all. Very unspecifically specific music taste, I'd say.

i used to be 'grape-soda-and-impish-behaviour' because i was drinking grape soda a lot and one of my main ocs at the time was called imp then i deactivated and came back as 'soda-imp' cause it was shorter yet still matched my purple theme and mood ^^

and then i changed it to 'soda-sprite' because my theme was sort of greenish with a fairycore vibe to it and my mood was more 'spritely' but i still liked soda and also still wanted to be recognisable to my moots so i kept the soda bit and i haven't changed it since!! :D

i've been thinking of changing it to soda-pop [what some of my moots call me and also the 'pop' bit matches my party theme] though... unsure! :]

Okay, so my real username wasn't actually supposed to be potatoanarchist, I made that up on a whim and I have a mind to change it. It was supposed to be Xaosix, and for a very personal reason.

To keep it as simple as possible for you, someone I knew died a while back. I had known them for my entire life--seriously, they were around since I was a baby. We had a nickname for them and that's why the six that's apart of my username. I'm not specifying what the nickname was.

The other part of my username is a reference to my mom's name. No, her name doesn't start with X. It starts with J, but I've decided to keep it as X to make a little XO sort of w/ the Xaosix. In case you can't see it

The XO is for both her and the person.

If I end up changing my user or online name twenty times and twenty times again, this is something that will always remain the same. It just...hits a bit different when people call me that instead of potato.

As for potatoanarchist...yeah, the reason is a tad sad, too. I've had this...mentality for the past few years that has proven to be incredibly detrimental. And I've always tried to get rid of it, like an anarchist would their government, but it's always felt too small. Like a potato. But then I smiled and got the idea that maybe I could make somebody smile with that username, a small thing ( a potato ) lightening their mood ( anarchist ). So I kept it.

You'll soon notice a lot of the decisions I make are born from personal experiences/ideas.

So, Maki is just in general a very common nickname in my country. People have always called me Maki. In fact, it's very likely that people here are going to call you that if your name starts on M. So about my username, it's just random. Tho I could say it's because it sounds so practical that it's either "forever" or it's "nevermore". Think abt anything like falling in love, being obsessed with something, doing something out of respect or love or anything like that, we call it forever, but at some point, maybe when it breaks your heart, you swear to yourself that "nevermore".
