How does the voting work?
Each week, the judges scores and home votes are combined and whoever has the lowest total overall is sent home. That’s why Val and Normani need your votes to keep them in the competition, as it’s not just the judges scores that are important.
How can I vote?
There are three ways to vote -
By Phone - if you live in the USA, you can call 1 800 868 3410 as many times as you like (DWTS does not charge you extra to vote).
Online - if you live in the USA or Puerto Rico (or if you use a proxy such as Hola to make sure you have a US IP address), you can vote here. You must have a username and a valid email address to sign up are a must, as a OneID account is necessary. You can also use a Facebook log in. You can create more than one account (or have multiple family members vote) so that you can vote multiple times.This page is only open during the voting period, so you will not be able to access it before or after.
Facebook Canvas Page - if you live in the USA or Puerto Rico, you can vote here. You can vote multiple times if using different Facebook accounts. This page is only open during the voting period, so you will not be able to access it before or after.
When can I vote?
You can vote via phone on Monday night during and up to 60 minutes after the end of the Dancing with the Stars broadcast in each time zone. Online voting on ABC and Facebook is open for 24 hours, beginning from the start of the episode on the East Coast at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT and closing at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on Tuesday nights. If voting via the Facebook Canvas Page, be sure to have pop-up blockers turned off for Facebook and you may need to authorize the Dancing with the Stars voting app. During the show’s finale week, generally, the online voting will open when the show begins on the East Coast at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) and will stay open until 11 a.m. ET (8 a.m. PT) the following morning.
