Girl's Day Out [Closed to soastarlet]

Ian’s tried to change that some, to care and give for her and let her rest where she’s willing to give a little so she will. But it’s been a slow process. So he’ll like that her family is finally pitching in to spoil her better, and will really appreciate the ability to get her to sit down and rest while pregnant, once he finds out. Because he really will be one of those fathers that wants to do everything for Katie while she’s pregnant. And Alexis will really enjoy being able to help make sure Katie sits and rests.

“Well. What about wedding at the gazebo and then reception at the wine garden? That way you can get both.” Her hand reaches and settles over Katie’s hand, smiling. “We’ll make sure that they don’t get stupid drunk and start that club shit, and I’ll make sure Tommy and Abel keep them in line for your wedding.” Because left alone, the club members do just get stupid when it’s a party, for whatever reason. And this should be nice, done right. Katie deserves it more than anyone. “What do you say to getting lunch at the garden today, sample some of the food for ideas and talk to the caterer there to get things started?”

Changing a lifetime of conditioning---both Katie's and her family---is more than a one man job.  Ian's the most doting man she's ever met, and well, this is all going to be a lot to adjust to.  She needs to get through this wedding though.  That's going to be stressful enough.

"I'll need to talk to Ian about it, but I love the idea.  I really do.  That would be great, and hopefully help keep the boys in line a little more.  I know Tommy'll help.  He always does."  She runs her fingers through her hair and nods.  "That sounds great.  I'd like that.  Should we call ahead?"

Having someone run the front of house, at the very least, would mean that she’d have the day off to catch a nap, catch her breath, and get a little more personal stuff done or give her a little more time and less stress while she works on the books from yesterday. It’s a smart choice, to have someone run the front of house. Though, Alexis would remind her, if it came up, that she’s more than happy to help Katie out with the books. Over all, she has choices to help make her life easier. And it will be good for her to be able to get away from the bakery a little but know it’s alright while she does things. “After my shift, it’ll be my first stop,” she offered. Because honestly, she’d like to see Katie again before Friday too. And Rose was hoping Katie stopped in for food again before Friday too.

It’s not too long before she’s sliding the plate in front of Katie with a bright smile, extra food on it for the blonde. Rose would really love to show Katie what all the fuss is about, how a woman can get you just a little bit better than a man sometimes. “Anything else you need, just let me know, sweetheart.” There’s a small wink for Katie before she starts back to the counter. It’s slow, but she wants to let Katie eat in peace too.

Katie needs some downtime.  She doesn't do well being perpetually stressed out, and that's the state she's in right now.  Her nerves are just about shot from trying to do everything.  She needs help.  She's just reluctant to take Lex away from her own business to help her.  "I'll have them ready and waiting for you," she says, smiling.

The food makes her stomach growl as she beams.  It's been a while since she's had a real meal that she hasn't made for herself, so, this looks even better than normal.  Unwrapping her silverware, Katie takes the opportunity to take another glance at Rose.  She is lovely.  "Thanks, Rose.  I appreciate it."

I'm here to do some drafts and whatnot.  I have my sign knitted, nearly halfway done with another project...and I've got to wait on my Kaylee costume until I can get the rest of the stuff.

"Who did this to you?"

Alexis already has a black eye and a puffy lip, top ripped like someone had tried to grab her by it. She winces when she hears Katie, head shaking a little. “It was no one.”

She’s not sure why she got caught in the middle of something, other than she was a Teller. And they started with the family because they were too chicken shit to actually poke Jax himself. Alexis curled into Katie, eyes closing for a moment as she just sinks into the comfort. “Thanks, Kat. I just… want to feel better before we poke Daddy with this and he gives me an interrogation to get details…”

Tellers always get caught in the middle.  And sometimes it's not that they're afraid of Jax.  No.  Messing with his family isn't about their fear.  It's about his vulnerabilities.  Messing with the people he loves is a declaration of war.

Katie keeps her cuddled close, stroking her arm.  "That's okay.  I'll take care of you," she says softly.  But it does need to be addressed.  They're all at risk if the Mexicans are stirring up shit, and well, everyone needs to be ready for that.

She could smell him before she felt him slide into bed next to her.  Drunk, of course, but he’d just been celebrating with the pack.  But she could smell more than booze and stale cigarette smoke.  She could smell him, and she was glad he dropped his filthy clothes to the ground and curled around her naked.  She snuggled back against him, taking his hand to drape it over her.  ”Welcome home, Wolf Boy.”

No matter how long it took her to get use to all of this he would be waiting for her. Kolton knew that now was the time to patient with what she was going through. It wasn’t something that could be rushed or that he could fix for her. All he could do was stand by her while it happened. 

He wasn’t going anywhere. The way he depended on her would never allow him to actually leave her. His world would stop if she wasn’t apart of his life. Kolton looked down at her and brushed his lips against hers. “I love you, Katie Teller,” he whispered softly.

That's all she needs.  His time.  His time and patience while she reconciles these massive changes in her life.  Her entire world went upside down for a while.  Everything she believed changed.  And everything in their relationship changed.  They just need to work through this together.

Kissing him back, her fingers slide over his chest gently.  "I love you too, Kol," she answers, watching him.  "I...wanna...settle this right.  But I don't know how.  I feel...like an outsider."

There's a low groan against her as she guesses right, eyes flickering up to watch her take the bandana off. He's glad when she relaxes bak though, working her faster as his fingers slip up and work into her. "That's it, Baby Girl."

Her eyes flutter a little when he pushes his fingers into her with a groan.  It’s been a while since there was a man in her life.  Since there was a man between her thighs.  

So when it’s Tommy…well, of course it’s wrong.  He’s her brother.  He held her when she was a baby and gave her a bottle.  He scooped her up when she fell and skinned her knee.  He threatened to rain hell on the kids who were mean to her…

And now this.  They’ve been tumbling towards it.  She hadn’t realized, but they have been, for quite some time.  She wouldn’t have thought he was serious had he just up and asked her if she’d sleep with him.  She would have dismissed it as him screwing with her.  Better to show her.

Though, after a while it stopped being about the nightmares, because she just as recently as two days ago had curled into his bed some time in the night. It’s harder to do, because they’re across the hall from each other, but no one has ever thought anything of it either. 

But it’s been harder and harder to ignore the thoughts of her that slide through his mind when he watches her around the house, or in the early mornings when she’s curled against his side with her head pillowed on his chest. They’ve been speeding towards this for a while now and with the way she arches and rocks into him he can’t be sorry he decided to push this, and play this game with her. 

His mouth slips up to wrap around her clit and he works her faster with his fingers, curling them a little inside her to find that spot that will make her buck. He was true in his words earlier, he wants to wear her out, make her scream for him, and have her tired enough she’ll still be twitching from pleasure the next day.

There are only so many bathrooms, and well, when Alexis takes over their jack and jill bathroom, it means the only other bathroom save for their parent’s bathroom is where she’ll go. It makes sense, but he wouldn’t be her brother if he didn’t hassle her over it either.

Dipping, he kisses her nose for giving him both that apology and please. “Thank you. Just don’t take too long, or I’ll lose all my hot water, kay?” He’ll slowly ease into the hallway, though his eyes stay on her, one hand still holdling that towel firmly in place.

He hassles her over everything.  He certainly lives up to the big brother annoying thing, that's for certain.  She shifts her weight a little as she watches him.  When he leans to kiss her nose, she smiles a little.  "I promise.  Just give me a minute and it's all yours."  She slides the door shut slowly as he backs up.

And true to her word it is only about a minute or two before the door's opening again and she's ready to let him take the bathroom again.  "Thanks!"

Fuck.  This is going to start up all kinds of shit again.  Why the hell would they want to start a war again after all the peace?  Katie moves to her sister and wraps her arm around her.  "It's alright.  We'll get you patched up.  I'll get you some ice, a cupcake and find you some pjs."

    “F’you wanna call him, then call him.. Can’t stop you from usin’ your phone, can I? You ain’t under arrest.. you ain’t even bein’ questioned.. so you can relax.”

She was proper nervous, wasn’t she? Get one gun pointed at your back and instantly you start gettin’ the jitters.. Folk needed to get their shit together, honestly.. it was a travesty sweeping across this nation.

  She heeded the girl’s request, taking a few long strides away from her side.. fingers running slowly along the car’s sides before she was free of it and the woman. 

    “Though.. I gotta ask, and feel free not to answer.. If you were in my shoes.. and the daughter of some gun runnin’, life endin’.. outlaw, saw you kill a man in cold blood..

  What would you do?”

Now.. Aylin doubted that Jackson Teller would appreciate his daughter bein’ shot to shit and dumped off a cliff, but she was interested in some other feedback.

Katie wishes she had service.  Because one phone call and her father and brothers, if not the entire MC would be pouring out of their various hidey holes and swarming like bees.  But it's a dead zone.  For another quarter mile.  But she reaches in her bag, and fumbles for a moment, presumably looking for her phone, but ends up unholstering her own weapon and flicking off the safety.  She doesn't draw it, but it's ready, just in  case.

Once she slides into the disabled car, she pops the hood with nervous fingers, trembling.  The last time she was this afraid, she'd blown a man's brains out in the truck she shared with her sister.  The danger of Dale was over, but now this.  This is what she didn't need.

Katie looks at the other woman for a long moment and sighs.  "I've seen enough people do enough bad things to realize when it's not any of my goddamned business.  Besides, the only business my Dad'll have with you is if you hurt me.  And trust me on this, he's got ways of finding things out.  So.  My suggestion is to do nothing.  Or, if you're feeling really nice, get on your cop radio and call me a tow from TM.  But just know that that 'gun runnin', life endin' outlaw' will hunt you and end you in worse ways than being handcuffed to a car."

So, there's some definite bravado there, but she's trying to stay alive and breathing.  Thank you.

Jaegers and Kaiju, Oh My! [Closed to belfastpatched]

Gipsy is one of the best, there’s no hiding that, and her pilots are amazing. If there was ever one team that were truly one with their Jaeger, it would be the Teller twins. And a lot of the Jaegers were being built to work better like Gipsy, in that the EMP pulses wouldn’t take down the team and have them end up being a sitting duck while the Kaiju tear them to pieces. Too many pilots had lost the good use of an arm due to it, and the engineers were trying their hardest to combat that.

It’s a little too dangerous to try spontaneous sex on the top here, though with a little planning and settling it could be done later, world out in front of them. But Ian wants their first time to be special, in a bed so they won’t have to move after. Or possibly after a hard round of training, on the mats. Right now, the world is focused on the taste of her and keeping this kiss going. He really doesn’t want to stop, to break away from her even as his lungs burn for air.

Gipsy is the third sister.  The girls grew up with her.  Grew up knowing the ins and outs of their Jaeger from the time they could talk, watching their father pilot her.  He told stories, and they watched the monitors (even though they weren't allowed in the command center, it's easy to get around rules), and learning all they could about her...well, it's lead to engine grease and the Drift being part of their lives for as long as either remembers.

Katie finally pulls back, color high in her cheeks as her head dips.  "That...is definitely a To Be Continued thing, right there," she says, pressing one more little kiss against his lips.  "And more.  If you'd be up for it...."
