It’s October 31 2027, and you are sadly working at Spirit Halloween
Listening to music on Spotify since everyone is busy going to parties, trick or treating, watching movies, you know the deal
But you get extra pay so it’s worth it.
Then you notice at the corner of your eye that someone walked in.
Turning your head to see someone in a thriller outfit but you payed no mind to it.
Before you get to do some crappy sketch on a receipt paper you ripped off some bags of candy and decorations plopped in front of you
You then look up to see a man who look EXACTLY like Michael…maybe an impersonator?
“Excuse me, are you an impersonator? which made him raise an eyebrow but slightly nods
“Yeah, you can call me Daryl..” he glanced down at your sketch “I’m assuming you’re a fan of him as well?”
You hum in agreement “I really love his music and how sweet he is”
He just stares at you for a few seconds before pointing at the items “Sorry but are you?-“
You quickly apologizes before scanning the items and putting them in the bag before handing it to him
He gave you the exact total and a price of paper before he left
You check it to see it’s a phone number
When it came to closing the store, saying bye to your coworkers and departing ways you went into your car and stare at the price of paper again
At first you think it’s some prank but another part of you got curious so when starting the engine you dial the number and put it on speaker. Not even two seconds he answered to your surprised.
From that on you both get to know each other a little more
You found out he has a TikTok (he told you he make extra money that way)
He tends to visit your place a lot and sometimes ask what you know about Michael
You would go on a tangent talking about how thoughtful,kind,handsome (etc etc) he is but you didn’t notice how long he would stare at you when you fangirl about him
When you ask him why can’t you visit his place? He would only answer that he lives with his family still and doesn’t want to deal with them
One day when you was looking up a Michael Jackson live concert…somehow there’s a thriller concert? How come you don’t remember that?
Then when you scroll on TikTok you see someone talking about how crazy Michael had a secret wife this whole time?

Ghost(short film version) Michael shows a huge painting that looks like you saying that’s his bride
And speaking of films…there’s a second Captain EO but the princess yet again…looks like you

What really the icing on the cake is… when looking at the Annual Grammy Awards after Michael finished his performance you can see he has a ring on.
Sometime before Christmas Daryl(?) knocked your door in which you answered
When he walked in he see how troubled you looked
He say you down and asked what’s wrong
“I don’t know, it seemed that what I thought I knew isn’t true? It’s like everything seem to come out from nowhere”
“Somehow Michael has a secret wife? And these videos has a woman who looks like me?- I don’t-“

You stared at him in confusion before complying
“Okay open em” ….when you did you see two tickets to Hayvenhurst?
He see the confusion yet excitement in your eyes before leaning closer “They only allow a small group of people to visit in honor of Michael and I manage to get two so merry Christmas”
He didn’t expect you to hug him but he buried his head in your neck and hugs you tighter
The time Christmas came you and Daryl(?) along with a small group a people and a volunteer walking around the place
You noticed Daryl(?) look uninterested in what the volunteer is talking about…maybe he already knew much about this place
What caught your ears is when the volunteers says that one of Michaels kids own this place
When it’s almost time to leave the volunteer tells everyone to go to the front but Daryl(?) grabs your wrist and walks inside the house
He takes you to Michael’s room and even though your excited to see the inside..you’re freaking out because what the fuck is he doing?
When he closes the door he takes out a device and twisted it…nothing happened
But when he opens the door one of his siblings walks by and you are shocked and confused
When you try to turn on your phone it glitches

You run downstairs…he simply follows you and everyone who see you running look confused to simply ignores
You noticed the world look different….clothing..cars…everything
You then try to grab the device from his hand but he simply drops it and stomps on it
You then frantically ask why,what about your family? you don’t belong in this time
His answer is because I need you, we can make one, you do belong
He knew his whole story so changing some things won’t hurt
But leaving you back in 2027? As if his feelings that grew for you meant nothing? crazy
After seeing how dedicated you are, how strongly you defend him, how much you trust him…he can’t ignore that
After all he see you exactly where you are, right by his side
