I'm actually always thinking about the way both Katniss and Haymitch use a version of "Peeta says" to describe something that is undisputable truth!

Katniss in Mockingjay's Epilogue: "Peeta says it will be okay. We have each other. And the book."

Haymitch in SOTR's Epilogue: "She’s not an easy person; she’s like me, Peeta always says."

Specifically they use it for things they themselves have difficulty believing. But Peeta makes them believe in those things!

my most unpopular opinion is i think peeta would support katniss not having a relationship with her mother.

So I just turned 30 and I'm getting baby fever real bad so I decided to translate that into drawing Dad Peeta and his daughter. First full piece in a long time, as I've been struggling with a serious case of "I hate my art style what needs to change" so I'm working on simplifying things a bit--less attempts at painterly realism, leaning more into shapes and cell shading, etc.
