i'm not quitting playing as angel entirely!! i just need to majorly overhaul parts of her story and get a few things off my dash that are stifling my muse

so i'm only inactive/away from angel in the sense that i just haven't had the time or have been too exhausted from work/getting ready for the fall semester to get a new blog up

so angel and i will be back soon! in the meantime i'm mostly spending my time over here since my muse for him isn't being stifled by lack of inspiration

but seriously for the realz i'm remaking this blog entirely. i just haven't gotten to it yet i've been ridicubusy lately and i have school starting next week and i'm scheduled for over 30 hours of work in the next two weeks and

yeah i'm probably not going to outright delete this blog?? but it's just going to be heavily inactive and used for archival purposes i guess

i'll post a link soon as i get angel set up again and i'm so sorry for the inactivity here but i really need to rework her a lot before i'll get to the point where i can really rp with her again))

AU | fire and ice | Loki & Angel

She hadn’t been expecting the sudden surge of cold from Loki as the flames she conjured thinned, and she jumped back slightly, gaze darting back to him and then to the now frozen bars of the cell…and then back to him. She’d likely never admit it, but his Jotun form really was captivating.

Watching as he moved forward and broke one of the brittled bars off, she felt a grin spread on her face, hope and determination sparking within her.

“Gladly.” She responded, pain from her injuries and her inner turmoil from before forgotten completely with the knowledge that they had a means of escape within reach. Shifting and mimicking what she’d done before, another jet of flame soon consumed the metal bars of the cage once more.

She hadn’t expected his idea to work, honestly. These guys were on Aesir level with technology, weren’t they? Wouldn’t they have some sort of super advanced method of keeping prisoners in their cages? Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, Angel, just keep with the fire.

It was only after a few of the bars had been removed—enough space for them to climb through—that Loki paused and really thought it all through. He stared at the space before glancing at her. ”Let me walk through first. It can not be that simple. They know me. They know us. They should know better than this.”

Then again, Angel’s power was really only speculation to some of their enemies. Only a few really understood it. Even so, Loki found himself selflessly needing her to stand by while he stepped through.

Once he had, he looked around, trying to see where they were exactly. Glancing back at her again, finally sure they were alone, that it was relatively safe, he held a hand out towards her in offer.

A part of her thought about arguing, but she squashed it under the guise of 'I still hate him and if something happens he deserves it'. In reality she thought that, if something did happen, and provided it didn't kill him, he would likely be more apt to figure out what exactly it was.

He was the one that had lived thousands of years used to the kinds of science-y magic common to the nine realms--er, eight, considering Earth was considerably behind in that department.

"Just--" She began to say, but snapped her mouth shut quickly when she realized that she had been about to say 'be careful'. Her arms folded over her chest and she stepped off to the side slightly to let him pass, watching carefully as he stepped through the hole in the bars and then reached a hand out to help her through.

Jailbreak. She thought with a bit of glee, taking his offered hand and stepping through the bars as well.

long story short, there's a select few things about where Angel's at now that are kind of holding me back, so i'm going to either remake or delete all but the most important posts/threads and then unfollow and refollow everyone

either way, Angel's going to change up a bit in the near future

i'll let you guys know if i remake her entirely
