She couldn’t help the small snort like sound that emitted from her nose which was quickly covered up by clearing her throat and letting her tongue flick over her lips before she dragged her bottom lip between her teeth. Rolling her eyes Ava tried to seem unaffected by the way Scott, well, complimented her and ignoring the mention of that she had admitted she was on edge. “Is it a pleasure?” she shrugged, trying to seem less on edge than she had been previous, keeping her thoughts from the vehicle she had stashed and ready for a clean get away when she could get to it. “So, do you always go around randomly calling strangers nice to look at? Which, by the way, you were doing quite obviously, hon.”

HEADCANON 01.

Scott grew up playing Dungeons & Dragons as a kid, and eventually branched off to specifically play Pathfinder and D&D’s 3.5 edition. However, he doesn’t usually play as a character — he’s usually the DM/GM! When he was in prison he actually managed to run a few campaigns and it really helped a few of the guys chill out. BONUS. He also got Cassie into it and she loves it.

❛ okay but did you pick ‘hawkeye’ because you’re dangerous? because eagle’s are the ones with the stereotypical super good eyesight. it’s why they item in pathfinder is called ‘eyes of the eagle,’ not ‘eyes of the hawk.’ ❜ a pause, though brief. ❛ though to be fair hawks have a +14 to their perception to an eagle’s +10, even though they’re weaker. is it because they’re arguably more dangerous? ❜

Ava could hear her brother scolding her for being so jumpy and defensive, he’d always tell her to chill and be more amiable towards others but it wasn’t entirely her fault that she was at this current moment. A deep breath eased her nerves, letting a small and almost unnoticed smile tug at her lips, shaking her head and making a small noise by clicking her tongue against her teeth. “S’alright, Scott,” she replied, redirecting her energy into being more pleasant. “I’m Ava, j’st a little on edge, sorry for being snappy.”
