What mindset where you in when you found out about your character?

You know what, it was actually very easy to adapt to Bean and get to really know Bean and connect to him. On set we were put in a situation where we were all together for five months. So out of all the boys, and then Hailey of course, I was the youngest. I was the smallest, I was the underdog, just like Bean.

Not that I was bullied or anything, but it was set up in a situation where I was the younger brother, so I’d have to prove myself. It was easy to connect to Bean. They set the whole thing up perfectly.

I’m in bed re-reading Ender’s Game and Ender’s Shadow simultaneously, while silently weeping over my undying love for this whole franchise.

I haven’t seen Enders Game yet and I’ve heard some mixed reviews discounting all the rage about the author of the books themselves turning out to be a giant dick

But. There is only one certainty in my mind.

How much Bean there is in the movie is probably going to be proportional to how much I like it.

I like the way you think. But if this is true, you might not like the movie all too well. Petra replaces Bean for some of his scenes with Ender. In fact, the movie is pretty much Ender-centric with a lot of Petra.

WHY THEY MADE VALENTINE’S AND PETER’S PARTS SO SMALL

AND WHY IT STILL BUGS ME EVEN THOUGH IT MAKES SENSE

I love Valentine. I love/hate Peter.

I understand

Their part is very much about their manipulative natures (Peter’s through violence, Valentine’s through mindfuckery) OVER THE INTERNET. How much fun would that be to watch when we’ve already been picturegasmed through out the rest of the film.

HOW MUCH.

So I get it.

I’m not happy about it.

I suffer silently.

But I understand it.

I don’t know what else to say but I didn’t like it

The characters have no emotional connection to the audience. I can connect more to League of Legends champions than these people. What makes a good movie sometimes is not an amazing story line, but how you get *feelz* when you watch something.

By some reviews I’ve read, though I haven’t seen the movie yet, I’s say bad adaptation is what it was.
