I bring to you all...Ibukimono.
I've been frothing at the mouth over him on twitter lol,, i feel bad that i dont text post ramble on here, but instead yall get the actual lore™️

Anyway, Ibukimono is a wild god of Azeroth, who branched off into Pandaria when they closed behind the mists, the same as the celestials. She stayed peaceful and away from mortals a bit at first, but eventually their rugged charms won him over.
Starting off all those millenia ago in a Wild God version of a "feminine" body, he eventually grew uncomfortable with such a form and transitioned.
When Yshaarj was plucked from Azeroth and Pandaria covered in its remnants, Ibuki nearly fell to the corruption, were it not for the soothing song of a faraway voice that pulled him from the madness. This songstress was Okiri, a cloud serpent, eventually the two fell in love after a blossoming friendship, and lived as husband and wife for millenia.
Together they would teach the mortals of pandaria many wonders. Ibukimono would teach them shamanism and druidism [yes druid pandas], and Okiri would teach them the power of song and dance to aid allies (Bards n stuff!)
To many pandaren though, the red and blue serpents were simply fairytales, designed to inspire Pandaren to learn about nature and to befriend the elements. But those who did learn about those things, knew otherwise.
As Ibuki grew older, his students dwindled, as he found himself growing tired and grumpier with the fervour and energy of youth, those fairytales becoming even more so, as less and less mortals met the god for who he truly was.
Okiri however, only grew bolder, more energetic. As she grew older with her love, her powers grew as well. From a meager cloud serpent to almost a god in her own right. The both of them cancelled eachother out, the two of them growing ever closer to the point of being inseparable. They each took a scale from each other and welded it to where their heart lay, slotting in where their own had been taken out. Their devotion rivalled the pantheon, it could topple civilizations..it was perfect.
Then of course, the legion came. (8.0)
Okiri went off to help the monks, sacrificing a large portion of her power to get the children out safely when their training grounds were razed. This sacrifice, reverted her to a smaller form. A hatchling form. Having spent all her power, she must regain it over time once more...or...if Ibuki can find a way, he will speed the process. For now though, she finds herself coiled around him all the time, safe and secure as she recovers.
Shitty ms paint version of how i imagine his panda visage to look. Longer hair, scars and facial hair. With a feminine body! No breasts though . Sure he could go all masc if he wanted, but the years he spent as a fem are important to him. It's not his fault that the mortal races have such large gender dimorphism
Cries sadly at the fact that only image two is an actual mog he can use, being a shaman in game. The mog from image 1/3 is my monks mog..i wish he could equip it, its my favourite and matches him so well.
Ibuki's favourite thing to do btw is sending mortals on funny little quests and then giggling with his wife as they watch them do it invisibly. He's a god but he does not act like it he just really loves mortals despite being the grumpiest old man.
His true form is a mix of the Slitherwing drake i designed and the Heavenly crimson cloud serpent btw! Okiri is just a plain heavenly azure cloud serpent <3
