As Captain of the Blackrose Mercenaries, everything he does is scrutinised and put under a microscope, well...at least it was. A chaotic wild angry mess outside of his work, and a force of stoic genius in combat and work.... ? You cannot consider them the same man.

Tribes of Europa (2021):

Hey, let’s talk about this amazing show??? (Spoiler Warning!!!)

1. Post-Apocalyptic world that is akin to the show Revolution wherein the power went out and just never came back on one day?

2. Amazing world building- the tribes are very distinct and the forms of government are unique- we have communes, we have military states and so on

3. The three main characters are all actually incredibly intelligent? Liv, Kiano and Elja are all ready to do what is needed to get things done? Yes!

4. The pure tragedy of the fact that Elja thinks that his entire family is dead and has no idea that they are alive and looking for him???

5. A Dude named Moses who loves to bring the comdey

6. This show doesn’t pretend to be nice and sweet- it’s a dark place where there is no law, just people out doing whatever they want. Politics within the tribes and the groups are delicate and difficult to manage and there are actual consequences to actions.

7. Excellent soundtrack, costume design is on point- locations are great- you can really feel the environment they are living in. 

8. the call backs for the kids looking up at the sky and wishing they were home again. Those moments keep breaking me tbh

9. Will someone please let Kiano get some goddamn rest? This kid has been through hell and back and he gets nothing but shit. Let my boy sleep please

10. I am loving the mystery of the Atlantis and the Cube!

Elja looked at the man beside her, sadness in her eyes. It was no surprise to hear how much the Romans had hurt him too in the past. There seemed to be no one not of Roman blood who didn’t bear one scar or another.

“It pains my heart to hear that,” she said, then she swallowed and stared straight ahead again. “Would that we could make them pay for every moment of pain. But not even an ocean of blood could wash away what they did to me.” She sighed, and her hand wandered to her neck, almost of its own accord. “I can still feel the collar on my skin sometimes.”

“Sometimes, the best vengeance is not violence but by living happier and freer than they ever could imagine. Oh, and we Cillicians enjoy ransoming them, so there’s that.” 

“I do not recall my homeland, yours seems to be a sensitive subject for your brother. I would not have spoken ill of the lands at all if one hadn’t so recently caused me ill. Men, we cannot trust them in business or in bed, eh?” 

It wasn’t that he was ignoring he talk of collars, it was more that he was trying to pull her pack to the present and the cheer of the party.
