Trouble//f2f//Alex& Cleo
Cleo nodded realizing that he was still who he was and staying still wasn’t an option. “You and me both.” She replied simply. She stayed close to him because while her eyes were adjusting it was a slow process.
She nodded again though she realized quickly how pointless that might be if he can;t see her, “I think so. So far everywhere I’ve been as been. I was hoping to run into Merlin to ask what’s going on.” She explained. “My laptop won’t even work and that’s battery run so…” She trailed off knowing she didn’t have to voice her suspicions.
He might be physically limited, but Alex’s mental awareness was at its peak with all that was going on. He knew he’d been on meds the last few weeks and he may not be as sharp as he could be if he was off them, but the situation made it feel as if a rush of adrenaline had coursed through his veins. His suspicions continued to rise. Not only was the electricity off, but comms were down. This wasn’t good.
“Well, we’re not gonna do any good sitting here,” Alex said, grunting as he put his weight on his crutches and stood up. “We either gotta find Merlin, which I think is impossible in this state, or find out for ourselves what’s going on.” He glanced at Cleo. “You don’t happen to have a gun on you, do you?”
