Mittens I made for a charity auction.
Third shawl of the year! (I've posted about finishing this shawl before, this is just the finished object post so I can search for just photos of my finished objects.)
This is Hayley Tsang Heather's Peony – Pfingstrose Shawl. I made this shawl out of Fyberspates Gleem Lace in the colorway 733 Everglade, and used 896 6/0 Miyuki Rocailles in the color: transparent silver-lined dark gold (RR-4).
The Ravelry project page is here.
It's warm... it's fashionable.... it's hot coo-ture!
i made a the pigeon sweater (by Michelle Tsai) for my friend! i've been wanting to make another top for ages, but I have way too many sweaters already, so when she mentioned seeing a sweater she really wanted it was like serendipity 🕊️
i'm so psyched with how this turned out; she lives over a thousand miles from me so i had nothing but some measurements, math, and a lot of faith that this would fit properly (and it does!! perfectly!!)
dragon pattern to take the edge off
prints here!!
I may be addicted to lace knitting, I fear.
The pattern is Lothlorien by Mark Roseboom. Done in Scheepjes Whirl, colorway Pistachi Oh So Nice.
~ slayed so hard at a wedding yesterday it almost became a funeral ~
I forgot to post these finished Memento Mori Socks I knit a few months ago! I finally sewed in the ends and am ready to gift them to who they’re made for
a little scrap embroidery i forgot about from a while back…

i feel like @gothiccharmschool would like this
Aaaaaaaaahhh I want it!
i had a vision last night that absolutely ruined me. a bra, but it’s overalls. denim with the straps you have to tie and everything. but it’s a bra!
overbralls
I’m horrified that she’s actually considering it
I mean, of course I would be considering it, having dumb sewing ideas is basically 90% of my personality.
…oh wait no I went one further than considering it I did do it…
I ended up not going with the front fly closure, in part because the shortest opened ended metal zipper I could get was 40cm long and also TWELVE DOLLARS(!) but also because I got annoyed with trying to work out the equivalent of a waistband for the bust curve - this one has a button closure at the centre back but I think next time I would go to the effort of sewing a proper bra hook-and-eye closure because it is a bit hard to wrangle on and off.
(If you want one of your own, the pattern for mine was once McCalls M7937 before I re-did it to my personal preferences and to be a bikini top rather than an outerwear top, but view B is pretty much this except slightly longer and with straps that are, you know, not overalls.)
Jra for your joobies
I am pretty sure I have the worlds
cutest labrador.
Art by me, 1st grade
My blocking set up is a little insane rn but everyone please admire my latest sweater!!!!
The pattern is the Lumme Pullover by Sari Nordlund with the modifications of a split hem and a folded over v-neck bc idk what happened with the neck but it was wayyyyy too big and droopy but thankfully my amazing friends helped me tailor it without having to redo everything
I am so excited to get to wear this in the winter it is going to be amazing!!!
I'm currently on row 14. It's starting to actually look pretty good. I may also have redone the beginning because I didn't love it. It turned out much better this time. Using Hobbii yarn from a while back the Cotton Kings Sultan Shadow in Black Lavender.
Also gotta say for as much as people complain about dpns I thought it would be worse but I'm enjoying it so far. I need to find my size 7 needles and switch to a cable set up soon. Also this one is free so if you like it, it's worth the download.
sometimes you just gotta bang one out
serious tension issues resolved by isolated and focused hand-felting in the kitchen sink: final product like it was always meant to be.
finishing touch: alpaca granny squares for prismatic effect!
