Hello!!

I have finally figured out some story ideas, and can introduce to you

ROAD BETWEEN REALMS

My Link’s Meet / Linked Universe AU!

I don’t think I’ll be creating a comic, but I wanted a little name for the story/AU in case I do decide to, and to make tagging much easier.

Any drawings for the AU make will be tagged as such, and if anyone would like to create stuff for the AU, please feel free to do so and use the tags!

Now!! To introduce our characters:

First up, we have our Links!

From Left to Right: Legend, Hyrule, Wild, Juniper, Wind, Four, Sky, Warriors, Twilight and Time

And here are our wonderful Zeldas, plus Malon!

From Left to Right: Fable, Aurora, Dawn, Flora, Tetra, Dot, Sun, Artemis, Dusk, Lullaby and Malon

I’d love to hear what you’d think! I’m so proud of these designs and had so much fun making them.

Have we come to a consensus on Hyrule’s Dark World/animal form?

I’ve seen deer/fawn, a few other things, but I had a brilliant idea yesterday

Kiwi Rulie!!!! And it’s funny too cuz Kiwi’s are flightless birds, so he has one form that flies, and another that literally can’t.

Not sure if anyone else will be able to help, but no amount of googling has so I thought l'd ask. I'm trying to find an LU artist I think?

There's an artist that I found probably a year or two ago, doing LU or their own Link's Meet AU. Their style was quite complex from what I remember, and they mainly drew their designs of Legend (or adjacent character) and Warriors (or adjacent).

The style, the best way I can describe it is that it was CLEAN. The lineart was clean (like, the brush they use didn’t have jagged edges or anything), their colouring I think was like flat, with maybe cell shading?

Some other things that I may be remembering correctly is/was that:

- the lineart was a dark reddish/pink lines and/or each object had its own coloured outline.

- I think Legend’s hair was fully pink? And I think he had a braid, or was at least drawn with one a couple times?

- I believe they mostly did single illustrations

- I believe Warriors had hair to at least his shoulders, if not longer

The closest in style in the LU / LoZ / Link’s Meet fandom is a mixture of Linked Maze/frulleboi, appaeve, and this specific piece of Legend by pink-link-lad was the one who reminded me about this artist. (At least of the artists I know off the top of my head/notws)

I would appreciate any and all help available! Thank you in advance!

It was Quirkle2’s Suncaster AU! (Somehow I had them blocked????? I don’t remember doing that at all hahah) but oh my god I found itttttttttt

Adding this, I have a feeling, based on the fact I cannot find anything using ‘Legend’ or ‘Warriors’, that they had different names in the AU

Also, have a feeling the main red colour used was close to the hex code #922935 , and Legends hair would be close to #cf6666 (not sure if the lineart colour or hair colour).

Thank so much for the people who’ve commented and suggested ideas, I greatly appreciate it. (Even tried looking on my hard drive to see if I’d saved it anywhere lol, but no luck)

Finally done!

Here are my baby girls I love so much! Figuring out their designs took quite a while but I love how they all turned out!

I think you’ll be able to figure out who’s who (or at least I hope so!)

Ended up taking 106 hours of work across two months or so (15 October to 4 December)

I’d love to hear what you think as well, any critique or any thing else? Maybe headcanons or just general ideas lol

I think I’ll do Flora, Sun, Artemis, Dot*, Lullaby, Tetra**, Dusk, Fable, Aurora, Dawn and Juniper’s own Zelda***?

Let me know if you have any ideas/suggestions! Would love to make these girls unique and not so same-y. Like, give them all different aesthetics (that still make sense in fantasy lol.

Also, if I’ve somehow forgotten a Zelda, please let me know!? I feel like I’m missing one

*let’s just say I’m not surprised I decided to redesign the Zelda’s, I’ve seen so much cute Dot art lately I need to make my own

I had a bit of trouble finding a pose reference and wasn’t liking how it was turning out, but then I gave the blorbos their hair and I sorta love it too??

Juniper is a Mac and cheese addict and gobbles that whole bowl up at once.

She may or may not get Wild to add like, a whole ton of extra cheese to it.
