The REAL difference between Alex and Conner

In the first book it’s stated that Alex was the smarter twin and Conner just wasn’t… I really didn’t like that tbh…. Sure Conner wasn’t great he was just struggling. In reality they both are equally smart.

The real difference is that Conner is true to himself and Alex is isn’t. That’s it.

They both have incredibly deep character for a children’s book (tbh probably the main reason I still have interest after all these years)

Conner is willing to do what he thinks is right and what needs to be done. Alex is busy getting done what needs to be done… for sake of others.

It’s both a good and bad trait.

and we even see it as that.

This is just a rant post

I feel like the tlos movie will be very different. Simply because of it being over a decade old. The kids who’ve read tlos have grown up.

Sure it may be little things like the slang or a just a whole plot point changed im unsure.

I personally want to film major, and simply the creative arts. I’m really interested that Chris managed to get a movie.

I would be saying “oh nooo they are gonna fuck it up” I doubt that. It needs change, and change is good.

As old as it is it won’t be the same, don’t be mad that it’s not the exact way it was 10 years ago.

My only interest is how they will change it.

talk about the bailey twins

It bugs me how Alex was just constantly referred to as the smarter twin. It's not the "oh but they are gifted in different ways"

in the first book

Conner was depicted as the opposite of his smarter sister, sleeping and class and failing classes. He sure had reasons

Alex was the smart twin.

However that changed in the ending of the 2nd book. With Alex staying in the fairy tale world. SHE didn't even finish middle school she was like 13??

Conner staying in school. So its been at least 3 years of basic education Alex just didn't get. EVEN if she was like super ahead of her classmates. she has the education of a 7th grader.

Sure they are special in different ways but that changes as the book went on.

(This is from the top of my head. Also I kinda didn’t go over some parts but I will probs do that another time)
