Mya was my other half. She followed me everywhere, listened to everything I said, and always wanted to be near us. She supervised everything we did, and carefully monitored my elderly mom, as if she was trained as a service animal, drawing our attention to anything she thought was out of the ordinary. Not only did she greet people at the door, but saw them off on their way out the door, no matter who came to visit. She was very un-catlike, and seemed to always be trying her best to be one of us hu-mans. She was Cringer/Battlecat, my little direwolf, my Chewbacca, and her being gone feels like part of me is gone. My most loyal kinsman, you were, little mitten~I miss you terribly. ❤️ (at Kirkland Lake, Ontario)

Did you know one of the original designs of the typewriter used piano keys, until being replaced by the QWERTY keyboard layout? An analogy that's both logical and whimsical.

Testing out my new pens with a quick sketch.

Pretty nice JetPens haul, today! Gold, white, and super black ink. Tachikawa nib holder and G nibs. Non-repro blue Pilot sketch pencil and clear multi-ruler. Set of 8 Micron black pens and round-corner stationary punch.

Hand made letterhead with nib pen and typewriter.

Found my mom's old typewriter in the garage. Singer Professional portable with case from the 60s. Should of took a before picture because it was pretty dirty!
