it feels so insane to me that we're back on "is socialism actually ableist??" It should not be like this and as a revolutionary I am both happy and committed to fighting for a better world so that I do not have to suffer this and so that disabled people worse off than me don't have to suffer like this and so that all proletarians can be free. Even a poorly developed socialism where I still have access to housing and food guaranteed (I really don't ask for anything more than that) would be better than this. I could talk more and write out a whole essay but my hands hurt so I will not be doing that. I love that the pandemic actually definitively proved a lot of those "hard" questions for us. Masking up reduced cases of the flu to almost nonexistent numbers and we had zero flu deaths for a time.
