It grumbled, standing up straight as it pulled it's sword back out from the ground nearby.

"Hmm the day of love comes soon I see... such a shame that all of these survivors will have it wasted with all the killers looking to inflict pain."

“I don’t think that’s much of your decision, weak little thing…”

It said, obviously annoyed.

Off from behind, there was the noise of slow, heavy footsteps. Menacing to most, comforting to many. It looked ahead of itself, aimlessly attempting to find somebody. Possibly a survivor, maybe another killer… anything to make this a little more interesting.

“Hellooo, I know somebody will be here the more I look…”

-> Of rot and roses. -> A sickeningly sweet smell lingers within the air. Rotten flesh, a foul stench mixed with the floral essences of something warmer, something sweeter, delicate little purple roses. -> The witch didn't reveal themselves, watching from the shadows with their four purple eyes.

It rolled its head to the side, smelling the lingering rotting scent. 1x1x1x1 could almost feel the scent, but in a way he enjoyed the floral hints to it. It did what could only be described as a gargled chuckle before it spoke again.

“I know someone’s there… stop your hiding… come out and make things interesting won’t you?”

"I am here." -> A gentle raspy voice spoke from... Somewhere. This voice sounded different, much different. It wasn't that smooth and suave voice John Doe, it wasn't the shrill voice of c00lkidd and it clearly wasn't the silent lake killer known as Jason. -> Who was this?

It was surprised to hear the voice, interested now. It fiddled with one of its own strands of hair, looking in the direction of the voice. It adjusted its posture.

“And who might you be?”

It stopped dragging its sword against the ground, instead opting to sling it against his shoulder idly.

"That's for you to figure out, Parasite Lord." -> The figure finally came out from the shadows, standing tall and proud. Blackened skin, four glowing purple eyes and... A zippered mouth? They were draped in robes of blacks and purples, an odd hat resting atop their head. -> And they had tentacles coming out from their back, squirming and twitching slightly against the air.

“… I see.”

It looked directly at them, almost analyzing them.

“Well you’re quite the odd one, if I do say so myself…”

He said in a half-mocking tone.

"I could say the same to you, 1x." -> Huh? How did this person know the other killer's name? "At least you're.... Tolerable. From what I've seen of you. Not some complete moron like Jonathan...."

“Ohh why thank you…”

It tilted its head slightly as it heard its name uttered, but just paid no mind.

“Oh, I don’t believe any of them are too bad… we’re all in the same place, aren’t we hm?”

"I dislike those who claim themselves with godhood like Jonathan." -> There was heavy venom in their tone, but the stranger doesn't seem to elaborate on that anymore. "The small one is... Fine, I suppose. Although his voice can make my ears hurt a little..."

It let its sword drag on the ground once again, amused.

“I see… well, I guess I do have a bias, he’s let me take kills before after all… the child isn’t as much of a nuisance as long as you convince him there’s no survivors nearby!”

It seemed almost a little joyous. It’s been bored for far too long.

"Hmm... A fair point. I have observed that in the child's behavior from afar... I guess he's cute when he appears to be having... SOME sort of fun with this whole life or death game we live in." -> They cringe slightly. Ugh, they didn't like this situation, but there's nothing the ex-cult member can do about it. "I have my own question for you, 1x. What brings you all the way into this wooded part of this.... World we inhabit?"

It rolled its head back slightly, thinking. It decided to be very blunt.

“Boredom.”

"I suppose that's fair." -> They stepped a little close, their tentacles curling inwards and folding behind their back. "I don't see many of the others in these woods... Mainly those little survivalists trying to run through here and ending up getting all turned around." "It's funny."

It chuckled again. It pointed its sword at the other, but not threateningly. It just gestured towards them, amused.

“Well… now that I’ve shared, isn’t it your turn, hm?”

It seemed rather interested. Was this mysterious forest-dwelling person just another killer? Another survivor?

-> They glanced at the other's sword and hummed, rolling their four eyes all at once! Weird, but kind of impressive! "I've made these woods my home, I suppose. A sense of.... Lackluster comfort in a world such as this keeps me sane at times. Those little survivors don't quite understand the control I have over this little patch of land." -> They bring their clawed hand up to their witch's hat and adjust it slightly, the face cut into it seemed to glow as well. "My hut dwells within the trees, in the deepest part of the forest. No one's ever really gotten there without my assistance. But I'm not one for company anyways." -> That was a lie. They only liked the company of one person.

1x watched them for a moment, once again slinging its sword against it’s shoulder.

“I see I see…”

It didn’t seem to mind at all that the person in front of it rolled four eyes, or even notice. Everything was normal to it. It chuckled.

“Solitary, are you?”

"Indeed. I prefer my peace and quiet over chasing those noisy little mortals like the rest of you do... I only bother to do anything if they happen to stumble upon me." "The "witch in the woods".... Like from childhood fairytales." -> Fairytales. They remember what those used to be like. Oh to be mortal again... "It's amusing to watch you and the others run around tho... Entertainment for someone with a solitary lifestyle."

“I’m glad you’re enjoying the show…”

It seemed to tilt its head forward and to the side, not looking at the other directly anymore.

“One last question, you mystery… who might you be? To say I’ve never seen something, or someone, like you walking around here lately would be an understatement!”

".....Azure. That's all you need to know for now." -> Secretive? How interesting... "I suppose if you require... Assistance. Then I've told you where my hut is within the woods."

“Azure…”

It repeated to itself.

“What an interesting name. Ironic how ‘azure’ typically means blue but most of you is purple.”

"My name's meaning isn't much to me anymore. I am simply Azure." -> They shrug slightly and stand up at their full height, reaching up and adjusting their hat slightly. "I've heard you're nothing but pure hatred... The manifestation of someone else's hatred specifically."

It nodded at the remark.

“Yes… yes… that person has been disregarded in my mind from myself for a while now. I know he’s somewhere… maybe I can kill him someday!”

It was surprised that Azure had already known its name, more at the fact they knew why it even existed.

"The swordsman... I've seen his talents with that blade he wields. It's impressive, but it never seems to do as much as he thinks! This... Game. System. Whatever you wish to call it has hindered a lot of us in ways...." "Ways we aren't aware of... Both us and those little survivors. None of us can truly reach our full powers while here."

“Yes… very much so…”

It thought for a moment about the swordsman. It would never stop attempting to kill that stupid idiot. It decided that wasn’t worth sharing though.

"If I may ask.... What's your relationship with Jonathan? I've only met one other version of you and... I can't say I quite like them. They're too close with that false god..." -> Their tone was laced with nothing but venom. Azure held some respect for the 1x they were aware of, but that respect dipped in recent times.

The parasite chuckled, both annoyed and amused by the question.

“Think of it as symbiotic. I tell him where another survivor is, he lets me kill who I want to kill. I don’t exactly… mingle for too long. Most of the time. On rare occasions I may be bored though… but that doesn’t only apply to him now, hm?”

"Symbiotic.... Better than what the other 1x I know has with Jonathan... Pah..." "You seem... More tolerable than the other 1x as well. You aren't some raging animal of pure hatred every two seconds. Even tho I hold some respect for your hivemind, some of your members are..." "A little lackluster. But that could be a me thing by all means."

“Haha… good to know I’m up to standards.”

It said. It was a little curious about what they meant with Jonathan and the other 1x but it decided it’s probably best to never find out for its own sake.

“Oh yes… them… ah, I’m sure it’ll figure itself out.”

It said, more annoyed by the fact it happened rather than the fact it was pointed out.

"I do wonder why you only seem to have any.... Common sense. Or well- Whatever this version's world of "common sense" may be. You're not delusional like John, possessed by the ghost of one's loved one or..." -> They paused. They WERE going to mention c00lkidd, but that was a child. Azure wasn't THAT mean. "I believe you understand where I'm going with this."

It tilted its head to the right, its solid white hair dropping along with it.

“It’s more of a choice then it is a sense… I may as well be civil to the people who are running for their lives, no?”

“And, I have people to keep me interested… what’s a conversation if you’re only a husk! Or senseless!”

"Hm." "I suppose you have a point there. I don't mingle with the mortals long enough to really care. And speaking of senseless husks..." -> They pull their arm into their robes, rummaging around inside before pulling out the head of... Something green and black. "One of your little zombies entered my woods... They made good materials for what I usually do. I thought I'd give this back to you. Their body was put to wonderful use..."

1x was a little surprised, but it should’ve expected something like this by now.

“Oh. Why thank you, you’re too kind.”

It said, adding a twinge of sarcasm near the end. It took a step toward, taking the head from Azure’s hand.

"The bones.... Or whatever those are inside of your little zombies makes great material for tools and decorations... Can't say I enjoy green as much as purple but... It adds some nice color to this bleak and graying world..." -> They giggle, a slight hiss of air coming out alongside it. "Bones for tools, for decorations.... Skins for cloth and such.... Whatever's inside of them has been interesting to examine... Maybe I could use it for what I make."

It analyzed the head in its hand, deciding to let its arm drop down beside it after thinking about it.

“Interesting… at least my minions will be put to some sort of good use.”

"Truly." -> They giggle again, that gentle hiss of air escaping from their zippered mouth. They reach back into their robes, pulling out some little glass bottle with some rope wrapped around the nozzle of the bottle. "I make... Special drinks, if you will. Given your poisonous nature, I suspect using some of the fluids from your zombies will give my drinks the same effect."

1x nods, taking a glance at the small little bottle.

“What a theory… if a survivor runs through you could always put that one to the test.”

It said, rolling its head to the side again.

"I had intentions of doing so... But only if they decide to attack first. It's not quite wise to go up against someone who wields magic over a physical weapon..." -> They pull the bottle back into their cloak. Most of their form seemed to be hidden within that cloak, one could just BARELY see the bottoms of the witch's boots. "I see no reason to get involved with them unless they get involved with me first."

It stuck its sword in the ground so it could use its hands freely. It put a hand on its chin, analyzing the witch.

“Fair enough. I just capture survivors or at least injure them just in case another one of us… ‘killers’ want to trade. After all, I might obtain someone of… great value to me.”

It chuckled, the glowing red flare in its eyes more dim than it usually was when it was chasing after the survivors.

-> The witch stepped over and got closer to the other's sword, kneeling down and staring at it curiously. They didn't reach out to touch it or anything, no, that would be stupid. They were simply.... Admiring it. "Seeing you and the other killers use... Physical weapons is fascinating to me. Jonathan with that arm, you with this sword, the child with his little sword and bricks, that masked one with his machete..." "I could never. Having an... Unpredictable method of destroying others is much more my style. You can't defend yourself against the unknown..."

It found it a little amusing that the witch was staring at its sword.

“For me it is not the weapon that counts, it’s what it does when it has to.”

-> The witch hums, their four eyes glancing up at the parasite before looking back at the sword. "Consider me curious... I've seen you attack, but I could never really figure out WHAT that sword of yours does..."

It crossed its arms, thinking.

“It’s difficult to put into words unless you actually feel it, I’d say. It’s recoverable easily, but still leaves those little survivalists all shaken up and running away like little rats!”

It said, looking down at its blade.

"I see.... How interesting." "It does make me wonder how it poisons tho... The blade itself, is it tainted with poison? So that it laces in with the attacks?"

It thought for a moment.

“I’d less say it’s ‘tainted’ and more say that the blade is the poison.”

-> That piqued the witch's interest, their four eyes gazing up at the other killer as if waiting for it to continue on, to explain how the blade itself is poison. "How fascinating.... Very fascinating..."

1x nods again, messing with another strand of its white hair.

“It can also do other things… at least when I wield it. I doubt anybody else could hold that much power with my blade!”

[amethyst-acolyte]

"That makes me curious to know what would happen if one of the other killers tried to wield your blade... Would they feel the poison? Would your corrupted nature affect them...?" "So many questions, so little hope of them being answered. Your blade is your blade after all. I wouldn't really want someone touching my potions...."

1x looked down at Azure.

“That’s not something I’ve ever tried to let them do, considering John has a corrupted part of his own and the child…”

It thought about it, but decided not to finish its sentence.

"That arm..." -> Their eyes go unfocused slightly before they stand up, their gaze not really landing on anything in particular. "I would love to take that arm of his apart. Corruption in the purest form... I wonder what it's like inside of that blackened stoney interior."

It’s gaze followed Azure for a moment before reaching down to pull its sword out of the ground.

“Mhm…”

-> Azure seemed to snap back to reality, grabbing some of their cloak and bringing their arm up to conceal part of this face. Where they... Embarrassed? Maybe even flustered? "I.... Excuse my lack of thought there..." -> They avert their gaze. "The.... Anatomy. How one's body functions is... Very interesting to me. Even more so after my own body has changed and reformed itself..."

It chuckles.

“Well… can’t say we don’t all have our strange interests.”

It grins, although it was thinking of someone it hated with almost burning passion at times.

"My own anatomy has... Shifted and morphed, changed so much that I didn't even recognize I was in my own body when I.... Woke up. I didn't look like this in the past..." "Blackened skin, four eyes and this GOD FORSAKEN ZIPPER!" -> They spit angrily, their four tentacles curling and uncurling as their anger seemed to boil up.

1x1x1x1 stifled its own laughter, hiding its amused face in its arm.

“What a strange form… I think nothing of mine. You’d think somebody who was made of someone’s hatred would look a bit like them, although that was never the case.”

"I personally think you'd look less threatening if you did happen to look like Shedletsky... It would've been very unfortunate if that had been the case, hehe..." -> A slight smile curled onto their zipped mouth. Or well- What one could've guessed was a smile. "You look much better this way..."

It slung its sword over its shoulder again, looking rather proud of itself.

“Why thank you.”

It’s unnaturally grey teeth were formed in a smile.

"At least you have some taste in your appearance... Can't really say the others look appealing in the slightest...." -> They roll their four eyes, glancing away from the green killer. "Jonathan is too basic.... The child is.... A child. And that lakeside killer's outfit is horrid to view."

It brushed its own hair to the side, wondering if it should feel flattered or not.

“My appearance doesn’t mean much to me… I went along with what I had after all.”

It said, knowing full well it regularly had to untangle its own hair.

"I would prefer my old appearance back.... I would be able to match my shadow if I could look like that again..." -> Their shadow? "But what's done is done and I'm unable to reverse the damage inflicted onto me."

It nodded, tilting its head to the side.

“What a shame, I’m sure you looked stunning in your previous form. I can’t say the same for myself though…”

It had a face of slight disgust just thinking about him. At least it never looked like that when it came into a physical formation.

"I looked so much better before all of this happened..." -> They reached up and gently touched their cheek. They weren't a fan of the slight rough texture to their skin now. "I feel like... I'm not me anymore. I am me, mentally and emotionally.... But this body. It's not mine. It doesn't feel like mine."

1x played with its own hair again. It really liked doing that didn’t it?

“Ah. Well, if it makes you feel any better, the purple looks nice.”

"....Thank you." -> They don't remember the last time someone complimented them. Only their shadow ever said anything about their appearance. "Your hair is nice."

It chuckled, letting its hair fall back down.

“Why thank you.”

-> They stand there in silence before a moment before looking up at the sky. It was nighttime, a period of time where they've observed one thing. "They won't be out during the darkness of this world. I do feel as tho you'll be wondering around aimlessly..."

1x slightly nodded, looking at the area around it.

“Yes… I don’t mind a long wait, though.”

It could stay bored for long enough, right? Once it becomes morning and the survivors come out to play, it would get to hunting them down.

"A patient one you are, parasite.... Just waiting to infect the next person you see with your virus, yes? Such patience for a being who was birthed by pure hatred and spite..." "I think it's quite funny, really, the 1x I've known has always been so.... EXPRESSIVE with their hatred... It's almost like it's their only personality trait!" -> They hissed slightly and hunched over a little. "But to see another that's.... So calm.... Is the hivemind of malice breaking?"

“Of course not… I could be nothing but a monster if I chose, but I would rather save my malice for a certain… someone.”

It felt like it could crush its own sword in its hand just thinking about him. It had done nothing but redirect its hate onto that man ever since this little ‘game’ started.

"Your hivemind fascinates me, 1x. I have yet to meet someone like you. Have you happened to speak with the other members? Or is there really no point?" -> They tilt their head slightly, the long end of their hat shifting slightly as they did so.

It shifted, looking at Azure.

“I’ve spoken with almost everyone… I’ve spoken with survivors too, but only when they’re running for their lives or trying to get me to stay away.”

It chuckled when it thought about the sentinels shooting at it, or slashing it with that stupid sword.

"Mmm..." -> A gentle noise as they looked away, their four eyes gazing up at the moon as it slowly shifted away and the sun starting to take its place. "There is.... Only one survivor I wish to speak with. And that's all if you ask me."

“The only form of wanting to speak with any of them is taunting them… the conversation with them isn’t all too interesting. Much too scared to speak to, if you ask me… although, a select few are… brave, I guess.”

"Very brave, yes. Very brave and very stupid..." -> They hissed under their breath. They've seen the stupidity of some of those survivors. It was both funny, but very fucking sad to see at the same time. "It's almost.... Cute."

It stuck its sword in the ground so it could use its hands freely. It put a hand on its chin, analyzing the witch.

“Fair enough. I just capture survivors or at least injure them just in case another one of us… ‘killers’ want to trade. After all, I might obtain someone of… great value to me.”

It chuckled, the glowing red flare in its eyes more dim than it usually was when it was chasing after the survivors.

-> The witch stepped over and got closer to the other's sword, kneeling down and staring at it curiously. They didn't reach out to touch it or anything, no, that would be stupid. They were simply.... Admiring it. "Seeing you and the other killers use... Physical weapons is fascinating to me. Jonathan with that arm, you with this sword, the child with his little sword and bricks, that masked one with his machete..." "I could never. Having an... Unpredictable method of destroying others is much more my style. You can't defend yourself against the unknown..."

It found it a little amusing that the witch was staring at its sword.

“For me it is not the weapon that counts, it’s what it does when it has to.”

-> The witch hums, their four eyes glancing up at the parasite before looking back at the sword. "Consider me curious... I've seen you attack, but I could never really figure out WHAT that sword of yours does..."

It crossed its arms, thinking.

“It’s difficult to put into words unless you actually feel it, I’d say. It’s recoverable easily, but still leaves those little survivalists all shaken up and running away like little rats!”

It said, looking down at its blade.

"I see.... How interesting." "It does make me wonder how it poisons tho... The blade itself, is it tainted with poison? So that it laces in with the attacks?"

It thought for a moment.

“I’d less say it’s ‘tainted’ and more say that the blade is the poison.”

-> That piqued the witch's interest, their four eyes gazing up at the other killer as if waiting for it to continue on, to explain how the blade itself is poison. "How fascinating.... Very fascinating..."

1x nods again, messing with another strand of its white hair.

“It can also do other things… at least when I wield it. I doubt anybody else could hold that much power with my blade!”

"That makes me curious to know what would happen if one of the other killers tried to wield your blade... Would they feel the poison? Would your corrupted nature affect them...?" "So many questions, so little hope of them being answered. Your blade is your blade after all. I wouldn't really want someone touching my potions...."

1x looked down at Azure.

“That’s not something I’ve ever tried to let them do, considering John has a corrupted part of his own and the child…”

It thought about it, but decided not to finish its sentence.

"That arm..." -> Their eyes go unfocused slightly before they stand up, their gaze not really landing on anything in particular. "I would love to take that arm of his apart. Corruption in the purest form... I wonder what it's like inside of that blackened stoney interior."

It’s gaze followed Azure for a moment before reaching down to pull its sword out of the ground.

“Mhm…”

-> Azure seemed to snap back to reality, grabbing some of their cloak and bringing their arm up to conceal part of this face. Where they... Embarrassed? Maybe even flustered? "I.... Excuse my lack of thought there..." -> They avert their gaze. "The.... Anatomy. How one's body functions is... Very interesting to me. Even more so after my own body has changed and reformed itself..."

It chuckles.

“Well… can’t say we don’t all have our strange interests.”

It grins, although it was thinking of someone it hated with almost burning passion at times.

"My own anatomy has... Shifted and morphed, changed so much that I didn't even recognize I was in my own body when I.... Woke up. I didn't look like this in the past..." "Blackened skin, four eyes and this GOD FORSAKEN ZIPPER!" -> They spit angrily, their four tentacles curling and uncurling as their anger seemed to boil up.

1x1x1x1 stifled its own laughter, hiding its amused face in its arm.

“What a strange form… I think nothing of mine. You’d think somebody who was made of someone’s hatred would look a bit like them, although that was never the case.”

"I personally think you'd look less threatening if you did happen to look like Shedletsky... It would've been very unfortunate if that had been the case, hehe..." -> A slight smile curled onto their zipped mouth. Or well- What one could've guessed was a smile. "You look much better this way..."

It slung its sword over its shoulder again, looking rather proud of itself.

“Why thank you.”

It’s unnaturally grey teeth were formed in a smile.

"At least you have some taste in your appearance... Can't really say the others look appealing in the slightest...." -> They roll their four eyes, glancing away from the green killer. "Jonathan is too basic.... The child is.... A child. And that lakeside killer's outfit is horrid to view."

It brushed its own hair to the side, wondering if it should feel flattered or not.

“My appearance doesn’t mean much to me… I went along with what I had after all.”

It said, knowing full well it regularly had to untangle its own hair.

"I would prefer my old appearance back.... I would be able to match my shadow if I could look like that again..." -> Their shadow? "But what's done is done and I'm unable to reverse the damage inflicted onto me."

It nodded, tilting its head to the side.

“What a shame, I’m sure you looked stunning in your previous form. I can’t say the same for myself though…”

It had a face of slight disgust just thinking about him. At least it never looked like that when it came into a physical formation.

"I looked so much better before all of this happened..." -> They reached up and gently touched their cheek. They weren't a fan of the slight rough texture to their skin now. "I feel like... I'm not me anymore. I am me, mentally and emotionally.... But this body. It's not mine. It doesn't feel like mine."

1x played with its own hair again. It really liked doing that didn’t it?

“Ah. Well, if it makes you feel any better, the purple looks nice.”

"....Thank you." -> They don't remember the last time someone complimented them. Only their shadow ever said anything about their appearance. "Your hair is nice."

It chuckled, letting its hair fall back down.
