Things have been off for a few weeks. Suffice to say, I’ve resolved my dilemma

I spent what felt like eons on the pink moon, while I tempered my size. I’ve managed, and am back hive. Since waking– All of my scars have gone. I am here. It isn’t a dream anymore. How terrify, and so exciting.

that's certainly an adventure! i'm going to assume you live in a world where that's a bit more of an endeavor than just playing pretend. so did you end up finding your elf in the end? what do you do with an elf, anyway?

Well, you see, the elf I kidnapped ended up being a police captain, so I orchestrated a hostage situation with said fairy police so that I could extort gold from them. It worked, but not without multiple murder attempts from her comrades.

And now we're best friends.

...Not without many amends to be made, of course. And many more crimes on my part before all that.

It could, but I wouldn't risk it. You must understand that when I say I have the house to "myself," I really mean myself and Butler.

Part of what makes just a little bit boring, potentially for you, is that my universe was a prerequisite to human kind. A lot of what happened in that universe, is a bit of an echo if not a bit reversed

Doesn't everyone inflict work on themselves? Some just enjoy it more than others.

It is, which is why it's so unfortunate that it's toxic.

I don't find that boring at all. If anything, I find it curious. They say history repeats itself, and this may just be another case of that.

Interesting. Such things can cause mutations in humans as well, though most of the time, they end up more detrimental than helpful.

I have a couple, though they're... out there, to say the least. One of them is that perhaps the game is some kind of divine entity, taking the form of something those it involves itself with will understand, such as a video game, so that they can more easily aid it in the creation of new universes while rescuing its "chosen" ones from the universes it destroys. In short: Perhaps the game is God.

From my understanding, the debilitating sense of shame is part of the hangover. You'll probably be fine tomorrow.

Oh, yes. I caused quite a bit of trouble when I was even younger. I was planning heists by the age of ten.

Of course, I'd have never been able to get away with my crimes had my own adult supervision not gone along with it. Really, Butler, you're going to let a twelve year old drag you around the world to look for a magical fairy book so that he can kidnap an elf? What could I have done if he'd refused? Bite him?

But then again, it was his job to accompany me on such escapades. I probably wouldn't have bitten him, as that is quite unbecoming, but I'm sure I would've had a tantrum about it. I was twelve, after all.

No, I don't do that. I wouldn't even be caught dead in my own home dressed like that. That truly is some risky business.

It's understandable to still feel guilty about it. I hope you won't beat yourself up too much, thought. After all, it's not like you planned on getting wasted and sharing that particular secret, right?

It probably would have been, but at least the hardest part is over.

Everyone here has the attention span of a mayfly. I doubt anyone else would've brought it up if you hadn't, honestly.

It is my job as the eldest while our parents go off on another one of their trips. Though it's not as if they need complete supervision anymore; they'll be fifteen this year, after all. I'm mostly meant to make sure they don't bring about some sort of cataclysmic event, as we Fowls are wont to do.

thanks. and, ah. probably, but not for the reason you're thinking. i guess it could've, but i don't think i have literally anything more embarrassing i could have admitted. not just on my behalf, but Vincent's....

that's probably good advice. i guess i thought people would ask me silly questions, or serious ones i would trip over myself answering. i didn't expect all of them to gang up on that one stupid topic.

Well, people do love a good scandal, and gossip mongers have a keen ear for a juicy story. But considering this is Tumblr, it probably won't affect your reputation elsewhere. I'm sure everyone will forget within the next couple weeks, anyway.

I'm doing alright, thank you. Mother and Father are visiting friends abroad this week, so I'm minding my brothers once again while they're gone. At least I get the house to myself while they're at school...

I don't think I'm the person you should be apologizing to, but you have my forgiveness, at least. The good news is that it could have been worse, right? People have said and done much worse things while drunk.

When I turned eighteen, Butler advised me to refrain from using my phone while under the influence so that this kind of situation could be avoided. I suppose I could have passed this advice on to you sooner; it may have helped you last night.
