The tension fueled by hatred towards Harper Brooks still lingered in the air but was slowly becoming diluted by their sweet touches and loving glances. With a soft smile, Alexis lifted Will’s hand to her lips and gave it a gentle kiss. She was determined to make that outsider gone from their lives once and for all. At least until the body was found, which, hopefully, would be a long time from now.
“The food was great, as always. Now, stay here for a moment,” she said with a slightly mischievous giggle. Grabbing the bed tray, the woman carefully scooted down to the foot of the bed, then carefully, as to not disturb the dogs, brought it back into the kitchen, and placed it on the counter. The dishes could wait until later.
Once she returned to their shared bedroom, Alex slipped her feet out of her slippers and placed them where they belonged, then did the same with her sweater before letting her hair down. The blonde shivered as she rushed back to the warmth of their bed, chuckling lightly and straddling Will’s lap so that their bodies could be as close as possible and still be face to face. Her piercing blue eyes looking directly into his as she brought a hand up to ghost her fingertips over the slight stubble on his cheek.
It still amazed her how her lover could look at her so much love, so much adoration, yet no one else got to see this side of him. Perhaps Hannibal had, once upon a time, but now it was strictly reserved for her. Only once did Alexis get to see the darker side to the man she loved. Even then, she was sure Will would have preferred her to not have; however, if she didn’t, then how could she have possibly shown him she was trustworthy? That she meant every promise of taking care of him and loving him the way he deserved to be loved, no matter what he did? Still, she wished never to see that look again. Especially directed at her.
As the sun began to peek in through the window beside the bed more and more, the woman’s blonde locks surrounded both of their faces with a golden glow. This made her smile softly, bumping her nose gently against his. “Hi…” the woman spoke softly before placing soft kisses along Will’s cheek until stopping to nuzzle her face in his mess of curls. “What does the love of my life want to do today? Stay in bed,” Alex giggles a bit, “spend time outside, stay in and watch movies?”
She kept a hand rested on the side of his neck as her other gently threaded with his much darker locks. Her nose still softly nestling in his hair, leaving feather-light kisses along her lover’s scalp.
A grin pulling his lips into a curl, Graham rubbed his thumb gingerly on the back of her hand before letting go, gawking at Alexis as she walked away with the food tray. Warmth flooded as his infatuation for his beauty grew every minute, wondering where he would be without her. Forlorn, unpretentious, more venomous, and acrimonious would lurk behind him around others. The house would be quieter and no one would be there to take him out of his savageness.
Graham will always be grateful he allowed himself to open up and trust Alexis. Fixing the pillow under his back, he glanced away for a second, then instantly looked back up, she's sitting on top of him.
Absentmindedly, pulling her body closer while she did the same, "Someone is being mischievous." Chuckling lowly, meeting the ocean eyes. Alexis' glee disposition found a way to rub onto Will, causing the curly brunette to smile wider. Leaning forward, planting butterfly kisses along her chin, "What are you thinking about?", softly whispering. Will noticed the pondering face drawn on Alexis' face.
Before their relationship, everyone bothered him about Hannibal. 'How was it having a serial killer as a therapist' or 'Whatever happened between the two of you to get the title 'Murder Husbands', which covered many Maryland headlines. It also made it harder to create romantic relationships with someone he has an interest in.
Given that, Graham began to stop looking out for others and isolated himself from everyone afterward. Yet, on the night of their love contract of one of Will's murders, he promised himself to treat her with much care and sweetness. In the beginning, he was worried his darkest would soon scare her away, but look at them now.
Folded in one's arms, nudging their noses together and exchanging kisses here and there under the morning sun's beams. "Hello, Dragă." Snickering softly, answering, "Stay here for a moment before we head outside. It seems better than the last two windy days." Tilting his head into her hand gently while kissing tenderly on the soft skin of Alexis' neck and shoulder, humming silently. "Bring the dogs up and take a walk, or probably go to the river and have fish for dinner." Fishing lingered in Will's mind non-stop.
