A new character line....

first university studio class and our first assignment is to make 42 thumbnail squares with circles inside, all different, showing different organizational techniques 😭

My dog is getting old and has been having a lot of health issues recently. Although she's still kicking we almost had to put her down the week before Christmas this most recent December. I've always wanted to get tattoos but I have a needle aversion, but I would do it for her.

I want to get a tattoo after she's gone to remember the friend that took me from 1st grade all the way to starting University. She has this beautiful little white spot on her forehead, it's my favorite spot to pet her and always has been. I wanted to find a way to design a tattoo that would incorporate that somehow, but the shape is too simple to stand alone.

Well, her name is Daisy so I had the idea to incorporate florals and leaves. So far I have one design drafted, but plan to make a few more. The main parts are going to be a spiral or something else at the special white part, daisy flowers at the eyes, and some type of leaf or other flora at the nose. The goal is to create a design that can stand alone without being obvious that it's my dog, but still recognizable to me and special.

So, here is my progress so far. I don't know if I'll ever get it tattooed, that is the goal of course, but tattoos cost money that I don't have in college. Maybe I'll do better at promoting that my commissions are open after I decide.
