Getting the first one of the lineup done. Mc's hair kicked my ass.
Doodles of my favorite monsters. Also my MC, my wife's oc (Merry Marker), and my oc The Fool.~
Forgot if I posted these or not. Here. Have a Fool as a fox.
I woke up feeling like death today.
I have now learned it is because I made a very large dietary change and have stopped eating meat.
So for those of you that read this, that maybe... Oh I don't know.... Are afforded the curse of visits from our collective auntie Flow....
Make sure to take a supplement so you don't feel like me.
A dead pile of sad.

Woah, Is that a foolish lil dood?
Just some concepts of what this doofus looks like in day cloths vs. the uniform.
"Says the Doofus."
A Fool's tale: chapter one
“Monster, what really is a monster?”
“Someone different."
This one knew at least that fact, it was more than always reminded of that very statement of life each time it woke up.
Every day was full of beatings, harsher and harsher, until the beast was worn down to nothing but a pet. Then the human began dragging it out to show around to anyone that would pay its master for the time to take a look.
Cold people that always wanted to hurt the monster.
But, it was happy.
Wasn’t it?
A Pretty beast that could transform, that’s all it was in the first place.
Why wouldn’t it be happy when the humans gave it reason to exist, to be seen and never forgotten?
Life was quiet before that. Before the human that died so long ago. But there were always more humans to take control. Humans that wanted to use the beast for money and fame.
Until
Tents, brilliant colors and a cage.
Voices!?
The sounds of death!
The smell of its master’s iron in the air, then nothing.
For a long time there was only rest.
Only quiet in the beast’s mind, for the first time in a long time.
But then…
“Wake up, will you?”
It found that a simple enough request, dull eyes opening for the first time since its master’s voice stopped.
The darkness held only enough light for it to see the purple glow of eyes watching from the darkest parts of the room.
“What do you require of me?”
The words came out forced and dry. “Will you give me food? Water… Anything to bring me back from this state?” It added as it watched with damaged eyes.
The shadows seemed to form into shapes until someone walked out of them. Tall and thin, wearing purple, black, and gold. The beast felt this being was gauche with his appearance, but it was willing to do anything to be let out of this hell.
Long claws gripped at the bars of its cage.
The purple one stood in quiet observation. Waiting to see what this beast would do, not daring to utter another word until he was given the reaction he sought.
It simply looked back, the two of them held in a battle of wills.
Eventually the purple one opened the beast’s cage. The lock and joints of the door had all but rusted shut from their time spent closed.
“You will work for me. You will work for the circus, and you will never leave the grounds.” He said, as the beast crawled out to bow to its new master.
Born anew, in the flesh of a performer…
“And that, My little monsters, is how we got our Fool Master~”
The Harlequin chuckled as the puppet that represented the beast suddenly transformed into the shape of a silly dancing Fool, dressed in pink and bounding about the stage as streamers and balloons fell around the crowd. Each person seemed to enjoy the story, even if a few visitors became wary around the fools that wandered the circus grounds afterward. Unsure if that masked, pink, performer was just another human, or possibly this tragic monster, prowling for a meal.
All the same, the guests were all ushered out to go enjoy the rest of the night’s festivities.
He grinned to himself as he watched a tall figure slip into the tent after all of the human patrons had filtered out. Deciding to stay quiet, he turned to his puppets, picking each one up to clean up for his next show.
Clearly a trap that he knew would work all too well on the intruder to his space.
Silent hands crept up onto his shoulders, the culprit was already doomed, as they started to…
Rub their thumbs in deep circles into the muscle that was now trapped in their grip. This took Harlequin by surprise, but he didn’t stop the silly doofus from their task. Relaxing into the rough massage, “You really need to work on your entrances, Fool, my dear.” His words came out a bit pained and then he sighed. “How do you do this so well?” his words were mumbled and not meant for the other’s ears, yet they caught them all the same.
“I just do. Was your show good?” Fool asked, seeming more task oriented than friendly, and clearly avoiding the answer.
Just once, Harlequin hoped that this newer member would start living more like the free person they were now. Fool had been with the circus for more than long enough to gain the respect and attention of everyone here.
So why wouldn’t they stop acting like a servant?
He grunted at the question and pulled away. “You know. You don’t have to act like the circus’ lowest member. That’s Pierrot’s job.” He sneered. “Have a backbone so I can break it.” The last words came out like venom, yet Fool took them all. Smiling and nodding, like some dim little child. It made Harlequin cringe as he spun away from the big pink disaster. Fool watched him storm out of the tent and sighed. What could have triggered such rage in the man that he would leave his own tent… Filled to the brim with such lovely items.
Fool’s lips twisted as they began to tuck a few small things into their pocket. Nothing important. But all things that could be placed in hiding spots around the grounds.
A bundle of rope was then tossed here, a few of his pillows got thrown into the rafters above his bed, along with a blanket.
Nothing that couldn’t be quickly fixed or retrieved with little effort. Fool wasn’t a monster… well… Not that kind of monster anyway. They took the time to admire their handy work and then they twirled away, making sure to close the tent flap, so no humans would wander in and possibly get blamed for the mess.
“Now to find a spot for these things.~” They sang as they wandered away looking for nice high places to hide every last item that had been swiped from Harlequin’s tent. Not that the skilled green bean couldn’t get to those places and get the items back. It was very easy for him, in fact.
But that wasn’t the point.
Harlequin was lazy, when it came to anything other than torturing Pierrot and running his own shows. Fool knew this better than anyone, and so they would always do this little ritual with him. A pleasant side result was that it kept him busy and away from Fool’s other fools, the humans that were… ‘employed’ by the circus.
Fool became so distracted with this new task, that they didn’t even notice when a much larger Red clad figure suddenly spawned behind them.
His massive hands coming down on both of Fool’s shoulders. “He won’t be happy about this… you know better…” His voice was deep and blunt, but the giggle underneath gave him away. “Where should we hide them, this time?” His grin was even bigger than he was as he peeked over Fool to look at them. The pink on their outfit was out matched by the beaming hue that now tainted their face. A grin of their own soon followed as they turned to look at Pierrot in full. He was much taller than Fool. Strongly built and not very easy to run from. All things that made him the perfect match for Fool. However things had always been a bit… tense in that department. Friendship was all that Fool could manage to muster the ability to ask for.
“Yes, well when he learns to keep his mitts off of my pets. Then his belongings will no longer go missing.~” They chimed as the grin on Pierrot’s face got wider.
This is why he liked Fool.
So willing to cause problems for the biggest problem at the circus! It was also the excitement that it all brought to the place. Things could get dull around here, but when they found Fool, it was a bit more bright in the mornings. Pierrot liked that. He slung an arm over their shoulders and winked, leading himself and Fool to find very hard to reach spots for the smallest items.
