If the Sonic 2 Pre-Quill comics tell me anything it's that Agent Stone is perfectly capable of committing horrible crimes against humanity on his own, and is capable of being as cartoonishly evil as Robotnik, but chooses to be Robotnik's little lapdog because he cares about the doctor so much, which is not only fuel for Stobotnik but also makes me desperately want Stone to be the next sonic villain but make him uncannily insane. I want him off his absolute rocker treating the Robotnik contingency plan like his own personal bible.

i'd like to add that the shadow color isnt necessarily dictated entirely by the primary light source, but the bounce light! so for the example of a sunny environment, the reason the shadows are blue are because of the light from the blue sky reflects across the environment; but, if the character were to be under tree cover, the bounce light would be coming from the leaves and thus the shadow would look greener.
