we forget that being correct is often unimportant. to be factually correct is never a bad thing, if science and reason dictates it to be correct. but it is sometimes unnecessary to be right. for example, when learning in a group, being wrong is a given, and thus needing everyone to be prescise all the time takes away from the fun.

hey folks! wanted to share a little bit of character art and a logo design for a personal project of mine that i'm running for some friends in the Vagabond system by Taron Pounds. it's an incredible pulp fantasy rules-light action rpg that everyone who's into dnd, pathfinder, vampire the masquerade (+ friends) and eat the reich should pick up and play. i need ppl to talk to about it it's amazing. anyway

we got four people, they all died, woke up in a comedic and oddly satirical fantasy world. it's goofy and i wanted to share some of the small designs i've made for my players bc i'm proud of them.

I've been playing Silksong and my love for Hornet burns brighter day by day. She'll meet a stranger on the road, politely introduce herself, and tell them gravely and sincerely that she's concerned for their safety in this dangerous land, and that she hopes they keep well. And then she'll take out a fantasy 4Loko from under her cloak, chug the whole thing, crush the can against her forehead, and fling herself off of a cliff into the subterranean lair of Mother Fucker Unlimited, a monster six times her size, slaughter him and a dozen of his most annoying friends, black out, wake up an hour later on the cold ground, drag herself back up onto her feet, and do it all again.

ttrpg games are insane and make you insane in ways that are fundamental and irreparable. sometimes the best piece of fiction you will ever experience will happen to you and your friends over two to five years of your life. it will be your work and their work and yet somehow exist between and beyond you all. there will only be like three or five of you in the room and nobody else will ever be able to experience this in the way you did. it will be ephemeral and immediate and it will occasionally make you feel so bad you see hell. fuck. what a concept

Everyone say Ogre stupid and it true! Ogre has been playing Hollow Knight, but Ogre can only understand surface level themes like Perseverance and Breaking the Cycle and can't comprehend deep ideas like "Don't dash directly in an enemy's hit box" that make Team Cherry's metroidvania an indie gaming classic! Ogre so dumb! It make Ogre sad! At this rate Ogre will never understand Silksong!
