Guess who’s back with a revamp blog? Well, you’re reading it! Honestly, I want to be a bit more active than I usually am on my other blog but the other one… I don’t know… I just felt so… bogged down? I guess, might be the word? Anyways, I’m trying to revamp some characters, bring new characters in, and try and start writing again because this is something I love an really am passionate about. I haven’t been talking or anything much with my online friends and that kind of bums me out but there’s nothing like a fresh start! 

So new people, old people, if any of you are interested in a new and improved version of @fracturedxprospice than here it is! My rules a basically the same and the blog isn’t totally complete but I just want to get it out there now because I’m kind of tired of doing cosmetic shit that I’ve been doing for most of the day.

Grace was jarred from her thoughts at the sound of his voice, viridian eyes blinking in surprise as she glanced over at him. Her hand rose, ready to dismiss him and his words and assure him that he must be mistaking her for someone else, however, his next words had her frame tensing in response. Someone was following her? Could it have been a hunter? What were the chances of the same hunters who took her father coming after her as well? A small yet awkward laugh escaped her lips, half tempted to take a look for herself to see if she recognized the person but she didn’t want them to catch on that she knew they were there so instead, she nodded towards the male and grinned.

“Sorry, I guess I lost track of time. And where I was going,” with a soft sigh, she managed to shake loose the tension, playing along with what he had said. She couldn’t be sure if there was anyone actually following her or not, but as long as she was cautious, there shouldn’t be any harm in this until she knew for sure. “You know me, I get so lost in my thoughts sometimes that I stop paying attention to what’s around me,” another laugh, but this one was much more convincing. “So, where are we going this time? Same place as last time or somewhere new?”

Jude’s dark eyes shifted over to the man who he had observed following this woman. He didn’t get a good feeling from him, stomach feeling as queasy as when that man showed up to the doorstep the day his parents were killed. It was that sense of danger that had called him into action. His inaction had cost him his family, since then it hadn’t been an option. Sure, he was positive this woman could take care of herself, but if he did nothing and something happened to her, he wouldn’t be able to keep the guilt from creeping up on him... Like the guilt of his parents as they tucked him away, the guilt of watching them die from his hiding place, the guilt of them losing their lives for the sake of his life. 

His eyes shifted back to her, all while maintaining his smile. “Geez, you’re going to end up in a whole ‘nother country if you keep that up!” He tried to sound like they knew each other a while. He figured that it was the safest way and at the very least, this guy would get a little shaken by another person being around and this poor lady could go on about her day. He ran his fingers through his hair as his neon-ish eyes flit around briefly, looking for a crowded enough area that they could probably get lost in and lose the creep. “Oh, you know me. I’m all about going somewhere new. Can’t help myself. Exploration is kind of my thing”

     The pen is then placed down and settled along the table, Henry making a noncommittal noise at her words. “Then why are you here…? You are the one..who approached me. And yeah, I do agree that this war…is yours. It’s personal, I can tell.” Henry remained quiet as he settled for another pulse of his empathy, a thud in his ears and rushing of a quick wave that radiated through the vicinity.      He…wanted to be sure of something. It isn’t in his place to speak of it but it provided a reason why she’s even becoming defiant of his words.      “…There’s a miasma to you,” Henry softly deduced, his fingers tapping the pad of his fingers along the pen. “Someone gave it to you, didn’t they..? A certain…dirtiness.” He isn’t certain just what it was but it’s enough to sully her aura, a corrosion that is left as a permanent stain on her.      “But I’m not here to provide, honestly. As you’ve said, you’re only an observer… If that’s all there is to it, there’s no reason for us…to keep talking. I try hard not to mix business…and personal; a certain detail is enough to open doors to a lot of things that are left…unsaid.” 

Once again, the mystic is taken aback and her hands instinctively try to cover herself. Why had he have to speak on that? The filth that had tainted her very being, her existence. She managed to steel herself though. She wouldn’t show that it bothered her. She wasn’t the type. She immediately recollected herself and ignored it. She moved on from that without another single thought to it. 

“We don’t need to talk. You can do whatever you’d like, but I’d figure that it’d be more pleasant to be aware of such a thing then to be left in the dark” She merely started with a renewed aloofness. Why had she shown this individual weakness? Of course, someone would be able to hit her in her weakest points if she did that. Her eyes shifted away from the seer, trying to force back any more that he could gain off of her. This whole situation was the last thing that she needed. “Think of it more as me trying to get a feel for you more than anything else”

And she merely left it at that. She had about nothing left to say, especially if he intended to use it to pick at wounds open wounds that refused to close. Wounds that refused to close because she couldn’t let them close. Letting them close felt too much like Zeus getting away with what he did to her, with what he had been doing to women like her for millennia. It was unforgivable. He had to be stopped, he just had to. She didn’t care how it ended as long as it ended with Zeus unable to hurt another living soul.

So Saoirse’s birthday was on Black Friday and I was working so here we go, a little rebel hunter girl! I didn’t bother taking out the sleeves because I kind of like them on her. Anyhow, have the resident bar fight Queen on your dash. 

( Also, a side thing, a plot where she tries to kill a supernatural and they just kind of overpower her and keep her as a hostage to lure out the other hunters but like end up becoming friend or something is a recurrent thing in my mind. Pls give me that )
