it’s been aaages since I’ve animated. Did a quick test based off this incredible routine by  Koosung Jung. It was MUCH more challenging than I thought ! Animating dance is incredibly hard. Gonna keep trying to hit those hard pops and poses.

Guys...I'm feeling super nostalgic lately. Here's a redesign I did of she-ra. I heard that Netflix has picked up the title and is working on a reboot. I'm beyond excited to see what Noelle does with this. Did anyone out there watch this ??

hello beautiful tumblr people ! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to work on my own stuff. Re-colored an old sketch I’d done of Ursula. I’d really liked the lines, but the colours on the previous one did NOT work for me. It’s crazy the difference colour can make. Also uploaded a process gif. Shoutouts to all the Little Mermaid fans out there <3

Bit late uploading this, but hail the king and queen of Canada ! Virtue and Moir ! Sketched this after watching them compete in the team program. Was so proud and excited to watch them take gold in ice dance ! :D

I'm doing a series based on my favourite products from Lush. Yes, I'm obsessed XD This one's Big shampoo. Sea salt base with vanilla, lemon and coconut. It smells like heaven and leaves your hair with a ton of volume.

painting I did a little while ago inspired by a Free People photoshoot. I LOVED the concept; this girl half submerged in milky water, looking like a modern Ophelia. I changed a few things, but I hope it still speaks to the vision. Wednesday Addams ! This is actually a sketch I worked up from a costumed life drawing session. I loved the story it implied. "Nobody really knew where Hand came from, little Wednesday just brought it home one day. She'd always wanted a pet. We heard of Bowie’s passing halfway through production on our lego spot. We just had to do a tribute to Ziggy. He was a beautiful alien, and he will be missed.

We had a ton of fun making lego inspired parodies of famous artworks for the lego spot we just finished. It’s inspired by one of my favourite artists. MONET ! Stay tuned for more legofans and art lovers.

Yeaaah ! I get to share this ! :D One of the parody pieces I did for work. I am a HUUUUUGE Monet fan, so given the chance, I just had to do a lego version of Woman with a Parasol.  (PS. Monet is coming to Toronto this Oct if anyone wants to come with me)

concept art for the Lego spot ! I’ve put them in order of appearance. We had a ton of fun with this. Lego has really bright colors. It was really fun trying to incorporate them into our locations. We tried to create background that were fun, and would pop, while still allowing the characters to read against them.
