“Oh, Addie? She’s a good friend of mine,” he laughs at the mention of her. He loved his sister and wanted to be like a parent to her when his cocksucker of a mother couldn’t even compliment Addie. But for now, Tate would keep their relationship a secret. “She’s pretty smart, so don’t think she won’t get into the house. She’s doing that for what she thinks is right, and you know sometimes it is.”

“Most people can’t,” he shakes his head with a chuckles. Tate looks up at her while she thinks about what to say. She was pretty cute, and she wasn’t like all the other whores in the house. At her words Tate rolls his eyes. “Trust me, it’s not exciting when you’ve got stuff shoved down your throat all the time. You must not be that boring. You’re entertaining me.”

"You guys are friends?" Violet asked, raising an eyebrow at his response. She had learnt her name only by her mother yelling at her to stay out of the house, and she had no idea how she got into the house. The front door, back door, and other areas of the house were closed off for what she knew and she didn't even seem to come in those ways. Scoffing, she bobbed her head in agreement. "She is smart, I can't argue with that."

A smile tugging gently at her lips, shaking out the image of the little boy in the wallet and focusing on the blonde in front of her. "Were you forced to do it or something?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. "I'm not one to entertain, so that's a surprise."
