Death, ending and transformation as we see that the cards have changed from his playing cards to tarot. Death also HOLDING Gambit’s card and also his literal new moniker for this period.
The Tower, upheaval and chaos. The height of the xmen’s problems
The Lovers, love, harmony and alignment. It literally being Gambit and Rogue. But also resembling Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden with the Snake coiling them….choices and temptation. The skeleton they’re standing on? Remy now being touched by death, Genosha, their pasts and their issues beneath them.
There’s so much details in the cards, I’m so obsessed.

The 2026 Cyclops solo run is such a great example on how to make a good and short "side quest" (its literraly just 5 issues) but actually having it be important to the main story because of its character development.
I feel like before this, Scott felt like he was different from Xavier mainly becaise of how frankly he treated the "I am training soldiers" deal. While Xavier would lure this children in and pretend that he was only training them to defend themselves when he actually wanted them to figth for him and his cause (I fucking hate him), Scott never lied he was clear that he needed mutants to figth, he nedded soldiers.
But... in essence, both of them had a very similar line of though, that all mutants need to figth for their cause, that they children nedded to be trained and become xmen, because thats the only possible choice.
After this issues, he changes tho. His final dialogue with Mei is so special to me, because, after all shes been trough, she belives that she has to become an xmen, that "it is the only way". So having Scott say "I'll be am xmen so you don't have to" AAAAAAAAAA. He finally understands it and this finally make him fundamentaly oposite do Charles and OMG thats so beatiful
Anyway I just wanted an excuse to talk about this little solo run because it is so good and I love it so much

I swear I wanna be hyped for doomsday, I really do. But all I could ick up from that trailer is that their keeping the worse ever gambit casting from the luteral PARODY movie, Charles and Erik are as old man yaoing as ever (I swear this bitches can't escape the divorced couple allegations in any universe), and a general sense of what the fuck is going on😭😭😭😭😭
I feel like we're not talking enough about how badly Logan acted as a friend towards Morph in this episode. Because atp we all know that Morph has romantic feelings for him and we all know that Logan does not reciprocrate this feeling, but honestly there is nothing wrong with that. Not having romantic feeling about someone, or being in love with someone else is not something we can blame him for. The problem are his actions. The problem for me is how terribly he treated the one person who he considers to be his best friend. He got to Morph and LIED to them saying he needed help to stop the weapon X project, then he got Morph to go to midle of NOWHERE with a bunch of people (including SABERTHOOT) that Logan knew that could hurt Morph. He puts his best friends life in danger for a lie and after all of it HE DOESNT EVEN APOLOGIZE, because "oh, thats just how I am, I am a bad person bla bla bla". Honestly FUCK YOU, LOGAN.
Also, the fact that if he told Morph the truth about wanting his adamantium back from the beggining, Morph would probably still help him, but he chose to lie to them.
Morph deserves so much better, not only as a romantic partner, they deserves so so much better as a friend. I really hope they move on from Logan.
