Poolside deck seems to float, thanks to rocks that are partially embedded in concrete to camouflage piers and footings. Judiciously arranged throughout garden are more rocks, adding variety to yard’s linear look.

In the final episode of the sitcom, “Webster,” Webster is transported hundreds of years into the future, where he gets some advice about growing up from Lieutenant Worf. For many years in the early days of the internet, this episode was widely believed to be a hoax or fever dream, however, it has completely surfaced since originally airing on March 10, 1989. 

Webster was a show about a white family who adopt a black child, a premise that was extremely popular at the time in the network sitcom world. When this episode was made, actor Emmanuel Lewis (Webster) was 17 years old, as he had reduced growth due to health issues. He found it difficult to not act his age, which is why the series ended.

The original USS Enterprise had a six lane bowling alley, as shown here in these blueprints by Franz Joseph. 

The Enterprise’s bowling alley was never shown on the series, but it was mentioned in dialogue on a couple of occasions.
