Henry smiled at his new guest as he led him into the English halls and they sat down at the tables. For a moment Henry just looked at the man before him and he smiled softly.
"So, tell me of France or what news you do bear from it." He said, "I am sure my wife is as anxious to hear of it as I am."
He took a seat at the man's bidding, admiring the work of the English that surrounded him, and thinking of the new Medieval styles of architecture that would later come to be introduced under his reign.
"I pray she is well," he bowed his head in polite deference at the mention of his ancestor. "France is, I must say, well. But speaking of her well-being, aside from the flourish of arts, I fear might disappoint you, My Lord."
