A small snort escaped Rudolph as he cocked his head to the side slightly, this boy was definitely interesting. It felt like they shared the same sense of humor and yet it was hard to be sure. Maybe it was due to his own errors of perception, the same errors that had gotten him into awkward situations in the past when it came to dealing with humans. It was one of the many reasons he tried to avoid it altogether. The way the other answered his question caught Rudolph off guard though and he was sure that he had his answer just from that alone. âNo, I would never hurt a brother.â A fellow vampire. Or even any other supernatural creature for that matter, though he hadnât really crossed paths with any other creatures. âThereâs an obvious reason that I can tell youâre not human so you can consider your secret safe with me. Your blood smells⌠different. I can hear a pulse but your scent is off, not as appealing.â It wasnât as if the other smelled bad, he just didnât experience the same hunger he felt when he was too close to Tony after not feeding for a while.Â
Although he breathed a small sigh of relief, the other maleâs mention of âa brotherâ, had him confused. He highly doubted this guy was related to him in any way, so what did he mean by that? âBrother?â He repeated, almost tempted to add on âdo I look like?â. However as he listened to the other speak, things started to make more sense. He was also a vampire. âYouâre a vampire too.â He concluded. âGood to know I donât smell appetizing to a vampire.â He deadpanned, before continuing. âIt smells off because it is off. Iâm half vampire, half warlock.â Although he usually wouldnât go announcing that outside of Halloweentown, the other already knew he wasnât human. Plus, Frank was starting to take a liking to him.
