hello hello… long time no post again 😭

i haven’t really been active lately, but i finally sat down and drew del and mcleach again after rewatching some comfort movies and missing these two a lot. i still love their weird little dynamic so much honestly.

been quietly drawing and working on art behind the scenes lately, so hopefully i’ll have more to share again soon ✏️

🧇Mayor Jerry Sketch 🧇

Hi guys… it’s me again 😭

I know I kind of vanished (again) but I promise I’ve still been around—just quietly drawing, rewatching random things, and accidentally getting attached to characters I did NOT plan to think about this much

So… I watched Hoppers recently, and um. yeah.

this happened

I genuinely thought Mayor Jerry was just going to be a the antagonist “guy who makes bad decisions” type and then the movie kept putting him in increasingly worse situations and I just… sat there like oh. oh no.

There’s something about characters who carry themselves like they’re completely in control, and then slowly (or not so slowly) get pulled into consequences they didn’t expect. I think that’s the part that stuck with me the most. I didn’t even realize I was fixating until I opened my sketch app “just to warm up” and ended up drawing him multiple times

This is just a small sketch—mostly me trying to figure out how I want to draw him, especially the little gestures and expressions. I wasn’t planning to post it at first, but I figured I’d share anyway before I disappear into another drawing spiral

I don’t know yet if this is going to turn into a full thing or just a passing fixation… but knowing me, it might get worse 💀

✨ Del x McLeach sketch ✨ 🐍🪓

Hello hello… it’s been a while 😭

I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I last posted here (July 9, 2025 apparently??). Life got busy and a lot changed for me this past year, but nothing bad—just the usual growing, working, figuring things out, and occasionally disappearing into the bush with my sketchbook.

I haven’t stopped drawing though! I’ve mostly been doing quiet sketches and character studies, and Del has still been living rent-free in my head like always. So I thought I’d come back and share a little sketch of her with McLeach 💚

I really wanted to capture that moment where he’s in one of his wild moods and Del’s just there like “yeah yeah I know, you menace.” She’s probably the only person who can actually keep up with him out in the wild.

I’m hoping to post a bit more again when I can—nothing super scheduled, just whenever inspiration hits. It feels nice to be back here after some time away.

i’ve been in love with this man since i was like 6 and i just never SAID anything because people were already giving me side-eye over my crush on the poacher from a movie nobody even watched 😭

yes. it’s Percival C. McLeach from The Rescuers Down Under. yes i know he’s evil. no i will NOT apologize.

i used to rewind his scenes on VHS. he was mean, dramatic, had a monitor lizard, AND he threatened a child. like??? boyfriend material tbh

I love MLP since, my favorite Princess is Cadence, as you can tell, hence I draw her with a lasso tool, took me awhile to get used to and viola the results 💖
